Today the executive director of the Literacy Council was showing these people around..one of them saw me and was like "I remember you, I sat next to you on that flight to Anchorage!" I was confused at first then remembered he was with a lady I was sitting next to. Soooo weirdd haha. Alaska is so small :P

Both HammerFall's and Tyr's albums come out June 7..what a great birthday present. :D Haha (I think Rhapsody's comes out July too!)

Mmm it smells good outside *drools*

Day 71 - A picture of you with people you work with )

Would you rather eat a raw steak that has been left on a busy road for an hour or drink a glass that has been slowly poured through the wig of a sweaty woman with dandruff? Drink the glass (Whoever comes up with these questions has a disturbed mind haha)

Today's trivia: After the most recent North American glacier ended its southward advance about 11,000 years ago, it took more than 4,000 years for the mile deep ice mass to melt from the present site of Hartford, Connecticut, to that of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, a distance of 190 miles

There is SO MUCH fireweed blooming right now! There's more blooming in our yard now than last year! Maybe cause it's warmer and drier? There are big fields of it by the house. For those who don't know this is what fireweed looks like:

Fireweed

Yesterday I bought Tyr's newish CD "By The Light Of The Northern Star," "Land" by Tyr, and "Twilight in Olympus" by Symphony X. Yay :P

Today's stupidest quote: ESPN said Owens told the Eagles on Monday that his ankle was in great pain and is in the same right leg he broke against the Cowboys on December 19 (from an MSNBC Sports article, regarding Terrell Owens of the Philadelphia Eagles)

I listened to my Tyr CD yesterday...it's sooo boring!! You lose interest in the songs fast and I don't like the singer's voice. There were some songs that weren't in English and I kinda liked them. I wonder if their other CS sound similar..

I'm reading a book series called the Sharpe series (they're also movies with Sean Bean). There are tooons of books in the series...they're very good so far. I'm on the Fifth one I think (Sharpe's Sword). The fourth one had a huge siege...sieges fascinate me for some reason. Emily introduced them to me

Today's Latin: propudium parcissimum (I'll get the check)

"We fought against oppression and wisdom was our sword, on the path of glory we searched the rainbows end"--"Wings of Destiny," Gamma Ray

I got my ACT scores back...I got a 20. Is that good or bad?? I did best on the English and reading...how surprising haha

My Tyr CD came too...apparently it's Viking metal aka battle metal. I wanna hear how that sounds haha

This weekend is a three day weekend! Whoo!

Today's Latin: infinitus est numerus stultorum (infinite is the number of fools)

"Some people say we'll do it better, some people say everything's good, some people sing let's come together, but nobody has ever brought it through, maybe you and me"--"Crying Days," Therion

I bought CDs (online) yesterday...I got Power Plant by Gamma Ray, Erik the Red by Tyr, The House of Atreus, Act I by Virgin Steele, and Secret of the Runes by Therion. I heard Tyr was good from people on the HammerFall forum...I hope they're epic haha

I also bought the Movies in 15 Minutes book...OMG I can't wait to get it. In the book are parodies of movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, and LOTR. I hope they're as funny as the ones I've read online

Today's Latin: ira furor brevis est (anger is a brief madness)

"And we cry for deliverance, we hold the world in our hands, and come the dawn, the future is ours, sealed with our blood in the sand"--"Strange World," Gamma Ray
