I listened to my Tyr CD yesterday...it's sooo boring!! You lose interest in the songs fast and I don't like the singer's voice. There were some songs that weren't in English and I kinda liked them. I wonder if their other CS sound similar..

I'm reading a book series called the Sharpe series (they're also movies with Sean Bean). There are tooons of books in the series...they're very good so far. I'm on the Fifth one I think (Sharpe's Sword). The fourth one had a huge siege...sieges fascinate me for some reason. Emily introduced them to me

Aw, you didn't like it? Maybe it's an acquired taste.. I've only heard one song by Tyr so I can't really defend them, but not all Viking metal is slowish and boring. Ensiferum or Turisas for instance. Ah well, to each his own. :P

Turisas' website has some songs on it.. I'll upload some Ensiferum if you like. :) They do use death metal vocals though..

Aw that's too bad that you weren't too impressed with your CD...Viking metal sounds like it should be awesome haha! But like Kathryn said, at least you can't say that you didn't try it!

My brother just called me this morning asking me if we could go out and about to take a bunch of pictures and stuff, and since Kim is coming over later I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to come online again tonight. Boo! I will certainly try, though, and if I don't then I'll talk to you tomorrow!
