We are back from Northway! Yesterday was the nicest weather day we had! It was sunny and in the 60s..SO nice!! Later the guys who were relieving mom arrived and the guy who does the weather at night (Aaron) also arrived with his family. Aaron seemed ok at first but as I kept getting to know him I was just like WTF. He kept bragging about how he beat up/shot at drunk Natives, he made super sexist/racist jokes, he would curse and be really rough with his kids (I saw him KICK one of them!!), he bragged about blowing up stuff, etc etc. But one of the worst things was he chewed/spit tobacco. asdfghhpk ew ew ew EW. I tried being respectful but after almost puking on the counter I was like "do you HAVE to do that right now??" He kept putting the bottle he was spitting in on the counter in front of us! *gag* He did spit it out after I said that, phew. But the next day when I saw him, he just kept doing it! He didn't even seem to care it grossed me out (I could smell it!). He just kept saying things like "chewing tobacco is manly! You feel awesome when you put it in your mouth!" and he OFFERED ME SOME. Oh heck no..I'd rather die than put that stuff in my mouth. That is one of the most disgusting things someone can do. So yeah, I was NOT happy to see him drive up. By this time I couldn't even be civil to him anymore..he told me he hated cats this time (he said "I'm sorry" when I said I had a cat. I lost it, I was defending why I liked cats so much. He never seems to LISTEN though..he really needs to learn respect (he's a year older than me even!). His kids are actually pretty sweet though. One kept going outside and bringing me dried flowers..aww, so cute!

After they left and we had dinner, all four of us walked by the runway. Mom and I had been wanting to, but it was too cold and windy. It was still too cold and windy haha..it dropped down to the 30s!! Evil cold front. It was over a mile in total..coldest walk ever! I was so glad to get back to the buildings and cuddle under a blanket haha

This morning I woke up to a TOTAL BLIZZARD. WTF. The poor guys that took over from mom must have had such a slow day today. It was kinda sad leaving..it may be mom's last trip (she's supposed to retire in June) and it was a cool experience. After we packed up we drove into the village..not much, just people's houses. We went to Aaron's house (luckily he was sleeping) and said bye to them (mom knew them from last year too). One of the kids hugged me hehe. :) After that we continued on our way. OMG..the weather was awful! The visibility was so bad! The car got insanely icy..it stayed icy all the way to Fairbanks! When we got to Tok we stopped in at 40-Mile Air since mom talked to them a lot and gave them brownies hehe. We also had lunch at Fast Eddy's. I should have worn my snow boots..the snow was piling up! The wind was insane and cold and getting snow all over me. What time of year is it again?? At one point mom had to pull over cause she couldn't turn the wheels since the wheel wells were getting so iced up!! Eventually it lessened up, phew. Most of the rivers and lakes were still pretty frozen..jeez. For some reason all the birds wanted to commit suicide on mom's car..one succeeded. :( Poor thing. When we got to Fairbanks, it was sunny! What a change. :P Mom went into her work and did paperwork and stuff and them drove to her house. Yay kitties! Yay fast Internet!! Hehe. I shall post my pics soon!

I HATE when customers come to drop off books and see me and are like "I need a man, with muscles! It's too heavy, you're too small!" Or they tell me to get the small boxes. Wtf..I'm stronger than I look! When they do that I will deliberately get the heavier boxes. Or like today I'll refuse help and just carry the bag in. Sure it was heavy but not worth the big deal she was making about not wanting me to carry it. I can understand if the box is like 70 pounds, but if not..don't underestimate me cause I'm a girl and small :P

Went to the Midnight Sun Festival yesterday..there were sooo many people haha. As usual when I go to those things I spent too much money. :P One of the hardest things is to choose what to eat..there's so much food! Fairbanks in the summer is awesome haha

You know what I really hate? When someone says like "that happened before you were born!" or "I read this book as a kid, way before you were born!" or something like that. It REALLY irks me..I was born in 1989, it really isn't hard to find something before my time. It just makes me feel..inferior I guess? I dunno how to explain it haha. People are ALWAYS saying that to me and I'm just like asghjkl

Aweeeesome. Though I hate the people that are all like "OMG GLOBAL WARMING AL GORE BLAH!" People..Perito Moreno IS AN ADVANCING GLACIER. Every few years it makes a dam and then calves and the dam gets destroyed when the water pressure gets too great (before this year it last happened in 2008). Nothing to do with "global warming." Ugh

MY PHONE LIVES!! My new battery came today and it works! YAY! That makes me SO happy haha

My friend George (the guy who took me snowmachining) and I exchanged emails after not talking for awhile..he emailed me first and said hi and talked about the elections. I didn't want to get into politics so I just said hi and that I heard Lisa Murkowski was winning (I voted for her but he hates her). So today I get this:

Umm excuse me? Saying stuff like that makes me not want to email you at all..I can't just..automatically do that cause I don't necessarily work like that..especially if you're FORCING me to write long emails and stuff. That was rude and it upset me. If you're trying to "draw me out" chastising me isn't the way to do it. And then when I see him in person he's always like "you never call me!" when he KNOWS I'm really scared of calling people (I told my friend/coworker/neighbor Pat haha the same thing and she understands). And that just makes it awkward and stuff. Mehh..maybe I should talk to him about it..

In happier news haha..earlier we were getting ready to drive up Ballaine when suddenly dad goes "MOOOOSE MOOOOSE" and this big moose runs across the road. It was awesome :D

Well it looks like I'm gonna lose another friend...oh boy. It's probably my fault too. I bet she won't even care either...all she cares about her boyfriend and how wonderful her life is...I make perfectly fine comments on her LJ and she's like RAAAAR *attack*...and she may be kinda ignoring me...well and Kathryn too. Are we like the most shunned people on earth? Well she better GET OUT OF HER IMAGINARY DREAM AND NOTICE THINGS OTHER THAN HER BOYFRIEND!!!!! She's gonna sooo kill me for saying this but it's true. "My life is so beautiful I don't care what *word* it throws at me!" WTH?? That is a horrible attitude! I mean my life is beautful and I care about things like that...they're unavoidable and you have to deal with them...I'm extremly tired of this and I don't care what she says cause she knows it's true!!! I'm tired of being ignored and shunned...SEE THINGS FROM MY POINT OF VIEW FOR ONCE!!! You're probably thinking "OMG I feel guilty and I'm a horrible person" right? Well don't...you're not a horrible person and if you feel guilty...that's the point...it makes you think and all. Wooooow this felt good to say. You know...I don't really care if I lose her anymore...at least Kathryn actually cares for me EVEN when she had a boyfriend and it true...even when we have fights. School was let out early (3:15!!) cause a truck crashed into a pole...that makes no sense to me but oh well...at least I wasn't in Latin...oh that reminds me...I went to counciling with other "special" people who didn't look like they needed counceling...like me. It was sooo stupid...I mean the people were nice But I HATE being treated like a baby..."oh you have the same interest as this person so you get candyyyy!!!" And I missed some of Latin cause of that...that, my friends, is not tolerated! Especially if I'm just gonna be treated like a baby...it's every other week...OH JOY *dies*

And Kathryn's video she made me yesterday was AWESOME!!! It played O Fortuna with my funny Rhapsody captions I put and other random (mostly Luca) pics...at the end it said "may the Luca be with you"...yay Kathryn and your shiny skills!

Yesterday I got to hear Kathryn sing! She found out her dad had a mic. She is awesome!! She was playing the POTO soundtrack and I heard that too. She sang Christine's part on Wishing you Were Somehow Here Again, Twisted Every Way, PONR, and Down Once More. It was so fun!

I'm constantly finding out things I can't do at my school. I was listening to music on headphones in the library, like I always do, and the librarian said I wasn't allowed to. WTH?? She's seen me with headphones before! None of the assistant librarians seem to care. She said I can listen to music in the cafeteria...sorry, but I can't hear there, even when I turn the volume up really high. Just, grrrr!!!

Tomorrow I have the math TAKS, Wednesday I have none (and can sleep in and arrive at school at 11:30!), Thursday is social studies, and Friday is science...
