AT&T hasn't really been working for us (it barely worked at mom's house, dad's in Texas and his phone won't work..) so we had to switch to ACS and get new phones all over again. :/ They didn't have the same model I had before..I was pretty heartbroken since I was really liking that phone. I still got a Samsung Galaxy only this one is somewhat bigger. It's easier to read stuff on the screen anyway. At least they were able to import numbers and stuff. We went to return the other phones and that turned into a mess cause importing the numbers automatically canceled the account and dad returning the phone in Texas became complicated. Blahh *headache* ACS better work..going through this is painful!

I saw Pat's son Corbin today (he donated stuff to the bookstore). I had been wanting to talk to him..I told him how much Pat meant to me. He knew how much the bookstore meant to her and was appreciative she had us to be with her. He said Pat wanted us to have good memories of her and not be sad. I asked him what she wanted done with her ashes and he was like "oh she just wanted them dumped in the river." lol! I could see her saying that. ;) (She probably didn't want a big fuss over her) Corbin said he's gonna hang on to them for the moment haha. When he left he hugged me and said I could call him anytime if I wanted to talk. Nice :)

And now Facebook isn't letting me post comments cause apparently someone reported me for spamming. Wtf..I hope my account wasn't hacked! *changes password* Ugh this day can be over now..

Today was my first counseling appointment..I definitely like her better than my other counselor. We just talked about everything I had been having problems with (depression, etc). It was so tiring talking for an hour haha. She gave me homework to write down when the depression or whatever gets worse and why. That sounds uncomfortable haha. Our next appointment is next Thursday..cool

Pat came in to work today to buy some books! It was SO good to see her again..I hadn't seen her in months! She looked gorgeous as always. :P She said she'll call me hehe. I hope we can go out to eat again sometime!

Yesterday I went to the state fair. I had to take advantage of the last of the warm weather haha. Dad dropped me off and I had 3 hours there. I got my Dippin' Dots. :D That's like..a big reason I go to the fair haha..so yummy. I also went to the petting zoo and became a kid again haha. They had rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep or goats, a little horse and chickens. It was awesome..they were so cute. :D I also visited the other animal barns and the horse stalls. I love animals haha. I bought more glacier/mountain pics, a laptop case with a pic of the Northern Lights and mountains and Chad Carpenter's newest Tundra book. He gave me the "Heather discount" since he's seen me so many times..aww. He's so nice hehe. I was definitely tired when I got home :P

One of the people that lives at Southall was there and she said someone was moving into Sally's apartment. I asked if she moved and she said she had knee surgery and the next day was found dead on the floor. Noooo..Sally was so cool!! She used to work at the Literacy Council and was so nice. So sad. She also said Pat wasn't feeling well..the aneurism in her head may be getting bigger and may burst soon..no way to save her then. Omg..I better visit Pat again before that happens. That is SUPER sad..Pat is a great friend :(

Yesterday I finally bought Nenana Ice Classic tickets when Pat and I went to dinner haha. For the new people on the list, the Ice Classic is when you guess the exact date and time the Tanana River will break up in Nenana. There's a tripod on the ice (I saw it on the way to Chickaloon) and when it moves enough it stops a clock on shore. The jackpot is pretty big usually haha..though sometimes people share it. Today after I got home from work a few of the people on my floor were hanging out by the laundry room (including Pat). I brought Abby and joined them haha. One of the people there seemed scared of her cause she was like putting her ears back and she might attack her or something..well the laundry machine was going and it's pretty loud and she was in a strange place. She wasn't mad, just curious..and probably the laundry machine was hurting her ears. Then she was saying like she has a behavior problem and her teeth or stomach hurt cause Abby was rubbing her face on things and rubbing against the lady..what! Cats have scent glands in their face and mark their territory by rubbing on this..and it's also a sign of affection. She kept saying Abby really didn't like being on laps cause she was nervous and "mad." Umm she LOVES being on laps, she was just in a strange place! Then I picked Abby up and she was kneading on my arm..the lady said Abby should NOT be doing that and it's definitely a behavior problem and I should declaw her. WTF! Abby is one of the sweetest cats ever and I will NEVER declaw a cat..that would be like removing part of your fingers! They wouldn't be able to defend themselves. Ugh..that really annoyed me. Apparently she doesn't know anything about cats..

Yesterday I went to the 4th of July potluck the apartment complex had..Pat and her son Corbin were there too. Pat was gonna go over to his house after and he invited me to go too so I did (he lives in North Pole). We sat outside on his deck for awhile..it was relaxing listening to the wind in the trees. Corbin took me on his fourwheeler and got my redneck on and took me to Chena Lakes since it was close by. Finally..I'd been wanting to see for a long time haha. We didn't stay long since it looked like it was gonna rain. When we got back we decided to watch a movie..we looked on his movies on demand thingy on the TV..I saw one called 2012: Ice Age. He clicked on it and it said something about volcanoes erupting in Iceland and melting a glacier. I was like "OMG we HAVE to watch this" haha. I expected it to be bad and I was right..it was sooo bad haha. I LOVED the beginning when they showed the glacier calving and volcanoes erupting though. The special effects were EXTREMELY terrible haha. The movie was that a ton of volcanoes erupted in Iceland and sent a glacier hurtling toward Canada and the US and it destroyed cities..and apparently a fast moving glacier can cause tornadoes, thunderstorms and clouds to glow red and build up and look menacing haha. The military tried to nuke the glacier (that made me sad..poor glacier *sniff*) but that did nothing (riiight..so realistic :P). I love watching bad disaster movies. :P Dana, we so have to watch it together! After that we went to the store and went home. Fun! Haha. He didn't seem concerned..if it was me I'd be scared to death he'd be hit by a car. I hope I see him again :D
