My Sociology exam was today...it was mostly matching and was 120 questions. *checks to see if my grade is posted* OMG I GOT A 99!!! OMG! *dies*

Mrs. Hooker gave me a Christmas present...it's a shiny little bell *hugs it*

I was talking to Dana yesterday and I think I coined the best phrase ever.."I'd rather be hurt by the truth than delight in a lie." It sounds like it should be in Latin..

Today's Latin: mihi? Opus non fuit! (for me? you shouldn't have!)

"We were strangers in the night, both on separate flights, strangers in the night, going nowhere"--"747 (Strangers in the Night)," Saxon

*beams*

Mrs. Hooker said when I read outloud it's epic and Magister said I should major in Latin. Whee! ;)

In Sociology we watched this show about infamous murders. Those shows make me paranoid..

Friday five:
1. How dirty is your dwelling right now? How messy is it? It's cluttered..
2. Which part of your dwelling does it drive you crazy to have dirty or messy? Why? *shrugs*
3. Which part of your dwelling does it not drive you crazy to have dirty or messy? Why? Haha I guess all
4. Have you ever gotten into conflicts with dwelling-mates over cleanliness? Which side were you on (i.e., "clean freak" or "slob"?) How was it resolved (if at all)? OMG my dad is seriously obsessive about cleaning!
5. What inspires you to clean? What makes it harder? Why? HAHA inspires me to clean? Cleaning is hard when there's a huuuge job to do..

Today's Latin: cotidie damnatur qui semper timet (the man who is constantly in fear is everyday condemned)

"The Assyrian came down like the wolf on the fold, and his cohorts were gleaming in purple and gold; and the sheen of their spears was like stars on the sea, when the blue wave rolls nightly on deep Galilee"--"The Destruction of Sennacherib" by Lord Byron

I went to the library this morning like always...Caitlin went behind the counter to the assistant librarian's office place and I went to follow her but the librarian Mrs. Sprague said "I told you not to go behind the counter but you keep insisting!" and I told her I didn't do anything wrong and Caitlin wasn't getting in trouble and Mrs. Miller stood up for me...she said I could go back there to talk and Mrs. Sprague said in a really commanding tone "Katy, I'm going to talk to you later" and she said "let's talk now!" I started crying...Mrs. Sprague called me to her office and she didn't even seem to care I was crying at all...she said I wrote "Lushia" (Luca) on some paper...that was like...a month or so ago! Why get me in trouble now? And she said "it's just like if I went into your stuff and wrote on it"...no it's not!! And she said I was brazen (agressive boldness and does what you want when you want). That is so incredibly not me!! Then my councelor appeared and we talked and I stopped crying and went back to class. At lunch I went back to see Mrs. Hooker and she said they called the principal and Mrs. Sprague went to talk to him and she may or may not get in trouble. I don't wish horrible things on anyone but she kinda deserves some punishment. I bet she'll never wanna talk to me again

I get to go to Scarborough tomorrow!!

Today's Latin: curru veharis posthac (next time you'll take the bus)

"How can we go on from here if we don't stop the war? And how can we lose all the fear if we don't stop the war?"--"How Long," Gamma Ray
glacier_kitty: (Default)
I'm in love with Frank DellaPenna *blushes*

I went to the library before school today like always and I went to go behind the counter as always and the librarian stopped me and said "I don't want you behind the counter any more. You're been writing on the callendar." No I haven't!! That's why there's a callendar specifically for students to write on! Why blame me? Other people go behind the counter too. I told Mrs. Hooker and she said she'd talk to the librarian about it and even said my parents should call her *grumbles*

I listened to all the Gamma Ray CD and it's sooo awesome!! I see why you're obsessed Heather ;)

[livejournal.com profile] treepatter is sending me Luca's new CD!!! Ahhh thank you so much!!

Today's Latin: quando praesto fiet? (when will it be ready?)

"When the snow is on the mountains and the valleys freeze again, bloody horsemen come riding. They storm with the wind"--"Majesty," Gamma Ray

Yesterday's ER was sad...this patient came in with a hole near her throat (dunno why cause I was doing something else while watching) and somehow she was talking and she was rasping and it was freaking me out. Her mom came in and she was scared and sad of course. Everyone did everything possible but she died. Her mom and Luka talked and she said how they were Muslum and how 9/11 effected them and she was sobbing hystarically and Luka almost cried too. Awww. Then they showed scenes for next week's episode and Luka said he was going to Africa and work with Dr. Carter! These apperantly aren't "all new" episodes cause I told Mrs. Hooker (she's a fan) and she said he does go and she said it's AWESOME...yay!! Luka and Carter, my two absolute favorite guys from ER, will be together!!! YESSS!!!

Mrs. Hooker and Kathryn both like Edguy! Kathryn has only heard a few songs so far...I knew she'd like 'em. She said Tobias sounds like Fabio too...yay I'm not crazy

My computer's infected with malware and Trojans *cries* Go back to Troy...

Today's Latin: ars gratia artis (art for art's sake). Huh?

"There are times my heart hangs low. Born to walk against the wind, born to hear my name, no matter where I stand I'm alone"--"Heart of Steel," Manowar

Yesterday I went to the mall...I dropped off the stuff for the Columbian kids and got a new digital camera for my trip!! I hope I can figure out how to use it. I got new shoes too. One pair is black Sketchers that're so epic and metal. Another I had to get for the wedding...mom kept choosing shoes that looked sooo uncomfortable. Then I saw a pair and they looked comfy and I went over to them...and they're made in Italy. I tried them on and got them (man mom spent a lot of money on me). MY SHOES HAVE AN ITALIAN ACCENT AND SHINE LIKE ITALY!!! Then I went to the music store and got Mandrake by Edguy and Consign to Oblivion by Epica! Awesome is an understatement. Edguy rules!!! The singer Tobias sounds so much like Fabio it's scary. Everything is just amazing (and I didn't think I'd like them!). My favorite songs on the CD (so far that I remember) are Tears of a Mandrake and Nailed to the Wheel. Man Tobias can sing!! He can sing so long and high! *drools* I love everything about Epica except the woman singer and the screaming/grunting death metal vocals. It has Latin!!! The first three songs are my favorites. Mrs. Hooker wants to borrow both CDs, Magister Sales wants to borrow Epica, and Wendy wants to borrow Edguy...ahh! *spreads the metal love*

I started Psychology today...now I have four texbooks!!! My backpack probably weighs more than me! The teacher likes to hand gesture...A LOT. She's awesome and nice though. I think I'll enjoy it

Today's Latin: alea iacta est (the die has been cast)

"After the storm when the magic has gone, drown in the tears of a mandrake. Fading away, the final decay. Try to move, break out from your chains"--"Tears of a Mandrake," Edguy

We watched a show in US history about World War 1...it was sooo awesome...I think the only good things about US history are the battles...

Man today was really bad...I sent the Holy Thunderforce video to Mrs. Hooker (it's probably expired now) and she keeps forgetting...or is too busy...it makes me sooo mad! And I felt like she was ignoring me...then Wendy in class seemed depressed and it seemed she didn't wanna talk to me or cared what I was saying...then we go to lunch aaaand she's all happy and all with her other friend and she was so ignoring me...I put my head down and she asked what was wrong and I said I felt like I was being ignored and she said "I'm sorry" and didn't even seem to notice me after that!! She does that sometimes but it's bothering me more now cause it's that time of the month. I wanted to go to the library but I was mad at Mrs. Hooker and so I was feeling trapped. It took every ounce of stubbornness for me not to cry. Wow I feel better now that I said that *is glad to have a LJ*

Today's Latin: quid fit? (what's happening?)

"Some knights sleep near fire, drowned in their own red wine. The elder looks at the high flame, knowing the fight will reprise"--"Legendary Tales," Rhapsody
glacier_kitty: (Default)
I gave my Rhapsody DVD to Mrs. Hooker yesterday and today she was like "may I keep it one more night?!" She said hearing Luca's voice makes him very very more charming. Then I recited what Luca says and she's like "how did you memorize that?!" Luca power :)

Wow lotsa things are happening lately...I have a Latin club meeting Thursday, initiation Saturday, and Sunday is Gerard Butler's birthday and my one year anniversary of being married to Guardiani (which Amanda won't be here for, dangit). That went really fast...

House tonight...yayness

this survey is very amusing )

"Riding the holy winds, winds of eternity I'll fight you forever, nightmares sons"--"Riding the Winds of Eternity," Rhapsody
glacier_kitty: (Default)
Now the other library aide, Mrs. Miller, likes Luca! She didn't wanna listen to it before but yesterday I gave her Prophet of the Last Eclipse and she loved it! I gave her a Rhapsody CD to listen to also. So much for not liking metal...she also said it sounded very epic. Mrs. Hooker has listened to it too and they both like the song Prince of the Starlight..."star...light...SHIIINE!" *is now stuck in my head* I WILL SPREAD TRUE METAL THROUGHOUT MY SCHOOL!!!

I got a 82 on my Scarlet Letter test...definitely one of the better grades...oh yeah, the book was sooo hard to read *sarcasm*

Ergh people at school are sooo immature!!! People in my Latin class are saying bad things about my Latin teacher and he teaches horribly and are seeing the councelor about him! He teaches fine!! And when he had his back turned to the class someone stuck up his middle finger at him! They better not fire him cause I'VE WANTED TO TAKE LATIN FOR A REALLY LONG TIME AND HE TEACHES FINE!!! If they do fire him I hope they get a new teacher...

"There between the eight suns, right before the system Hazor shines the silent planet. Alkor Zephyr is its name"--"Rider of the Astral Fire," Luca Turilli
glacier_kitty: (Default)
The assistant principal gave me back my Luca CD today...he said it was very different and he liked it and said he might buy it...yay!!! Now Mrs. Hooker has it...she's listened to almost all my Rhapsody CDs...her fave songs so far are Ira Tenax, Lux Triumphans, In Tenebris, When Demons Awake, Holy Thunderforce, Queen of the Dark Horizons, Virgin Skies, Lord of the Thunder, Legendary Tales, The Poem's Evil Page, Erian's Mystical Rhymes, Guardiani Del Destino, Epicus Furor, Emerald Sword, Eternal Glory, Beyond the Gates of Infinity, and Symphony of Enchanted Lands. She likes Luca but I think she likes Fabio much better...she says his hair is rich and full...just wait till she sees Luca on my DVD...

We finished The Scarlet Letter today. THERE WERE NO SENTENCES AS LONG AS A PAGE!!! I really hope we don't read The Great Gatsby next cause I saw the movie this summer and it was so stupid!! Let's see...rich family in their house sweating and complaining when they have a pool...one of them says "let's go to town!" so they do...and...oh! What's this? They're in a hotel thingy sitting down and sweating and complaining exactly like they were doing at their house! And then the kid is like "OMG I HATE THIS COLOR DRESS!!!111" and starts crying...ew

I have a chemistry test tomorrow and a Latin test Friday...oooh

"I'm caught in an ancient dream so bright, and then the march of time begins"--"Somewhere Far Beyond," Blind Guardian
glacier_kitty: (Default)
Today I had chemistry and Latin...chemistry was pretty easy and so was Latin. I'm pretty sure I did well on all of my exams...every one of them had an essay except for Latin, though the paragraph we had to translate was probably equvalent to one. Too bad I don't have post WW2 anymore...I loved that class...instead of that I now have practice writing...should be interesting

Yesterday Mrs. Hooker gave me a 2006 calendar...each day has Latin phrases on them! That was nice of her...she wants to learn Latin phrases with me...yay!

And I shall watch lotsa movies this weekend...EPIC BATTLE MOVIES!!!! *drools*

"My way will be hard but I would do all to reach the valleys where true heroes ride beyond the ivory gates"--"Land of Immortals," Rhapsody
glacier_kitty: (Default)
I'm at school and it's lunchtime! I'm surprised the computer let me on to LJ...it didn't last year...the reason I'm in the computer in the first place is cause I wanted to show Mrs. Hooker my Luca pics but it won't let me on to Photobucket...grr!! Before lunch I did the essay part of my English 3 midterm...I wrote a page front and back...yay me! I hope the multiple choice part is easy. After that is post WW2. Tomorrow is chemistry and Latin and we get out at 12! Yaaaay!!

I have Latin club after school...yay!

Man lunch is almost over...valete populi!

"Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry, stand and fight together beneath the battle sky"--"Warriors of the World United," Manowar
glacier_kitty: (Default)
Mrs. Hooker loved the Rhapsody CD! Her fave songs were In Tenebris and When Demons Awake. WHEN DEMONS AWAKE?? I thought she would hate that song...I warned her not to listen to it cause it had screaming. I can see why she likes In Tenebris though. I gave her Legendary Tales to listen to today...that is my fave Rhapsody CD...hope she likes it was much as I do

Very odd dream I had last night...I turned on my computer and it was liked messed up from viruses and stuff and I couldn't go online or anything. I kept trying and trying and eventually it worked and I was relieved. Yeah I know my computer is infected with Spyware and may crash forever BUT STOP TORMENTING ME ABOUT IT IN MY DREAMS!!!

One side of my face is bruised from surgery still and this one person was like "OMG what happened to your face??" and I said I had surgery and he was like oh...ahhh I'm the phantom of the opera only not! *hides in an underground lair and plays the organ to the tune of Guardiani...*

"A hammer made of steel from the river of blood, with magic, forged in flames"--"Born to Rule," HammerFall
glacier_kitty: (Default)
Mrs. Hooker (the library assistant who I'm friends with) only listened to the first 2 songs on the Rhapsody CD so far (In Tenebris and Knightrider of Doom) and she loved them! She said they were very epic and big and they were very talented. She said I could make her a CD and listen to other albums...whoa...2 songs really made an impression! And she said she didn't like metal music...

In English we're doing this TAKS practice thing and today was the essay and I thought it was gonna be some stupid topic like usual that I won't be able to write about but it was "explain why it is important to accept others the way they are" and I was like "OMG something I can write about!" And it's a topic that's really important to me...I was the 2nd to last done and I wrote 2 pages...the teacher was like..."whoa." I wrote about Erik, the phantom of the opera (a whole page too), and myself. I knew immediately I was gonna write about that as soon as I saw the topic. Then when everyone was done we watched the end of The Crucible...OMG IT'S SO SAD!!! My fave character (John Proctor) was about to be hanged along with 2 other people (they were condemed for witchcraft) and they started praying and sad, epic music came on and John's voice was louder than all the others. They all got hanged in the middle or praying. IT'S SO SAAAAD!!! Why do my favorite characters always die???!

Latin club tomorrow, YAY!!!

"Steel all around for the king and his crown, winds of the dawn are caressing us all"--"Triumph for my Magic Steel," Rhapsody
glacier_kitty: (Default)
I got a 93 on my first Latin test!!! It was easy but still...yay! Bona bona!

The library aide and I were talking and this guy walks in who looks Italian and we asked and he said he was from Greece but knew some Italian and has been to Italy. He had an awesome accent too. The library aide said I was in love with Italy and Luca Turilli and he repeated 'Luca Turilli' and I was like *melt* *die* I MUST SEE HIM AGAIN

Here's more Rhapsody captions...not as many as before but some are really funny...

DIE POP UPS DIE!!!! )

"God of dawn, father of thunder, lord of the wind now blowing on me, thank you for all, for your holy sign"--"Symphony of Enchanted Lands," Rhapsody
glacier_kitty: (Default)
Ok...my computer or my mom's won't connect to the Internet but my brother's will...weird. Dang it's hot in his room...how can he sleep??

Anyway...it's very amusing when my Latin teacher tells us to pronounce Latin like Italian and put lotsa emphasis on it like the Italians do...everyone (especially me) were so amused. And now we have a big mythology project and in English we'll have a research paper soon and in post WW2 we're gonna have a project...I'm gonna DIE!!! I've had two projects at the same time but not three!! Gaaa! Tonight is open house...whoo

I thought of a great idea yesterday that seriously proves I'm insane and obsessed...I thought of finding all the pics I could of Luca Turilli and posting them...that would take a looong time...I don't wanna do it right now cause I don't wanna overload on my obsession...maybe in a few days...but I will do it

The assistant librarian I always talk to wants to hear Rhapsody...I'm letting her borrow Power of the Dragonflame...hope she likes it

"We love LOTR, and one actor that we love extremely is Christopher Lee.."--Luca Turilli
glacier_kitty: (Default)
I went to the library after I finished my lunch and these people were trying to cheer up someone. One person was talking about putting a post it note on her head that said "hot." I said "It should say shiny!" A person who works at the library was also among us and she agreed with me! Then I said, "people are shiny" and she agreed with me again! Then I showed her the pictures of Luca Turilli I have on my lunchbox and said "he's very shiny" and she said "yes he is!" OMG that made my day...SOMEONE ELSE SEES THE SHINYNESS!!!!!

OMG I got Kathryn's letter today! I've read the 1st page so far...I like it! Thanks Kathryn!

"Green is the cat's eye that glows in the temple. Enter the risen Osiris, risen again"--"Powerslave," Iron Maiden
