This is Cheetah's favorite outside sleeping spot hehe. I can't believe how skinny she's gotten..the guinea pig I had as a kid got the same way before she died. She is still eating though. Her life may be coming to an end though..I hope she's not in pain. It was HOT today though..mom and I took advantage (it's supposed to rain tomorrow) and found 7 geocaches. One was a fake owl strung from a tree..cool! I also found a cute kitty stamp in one :D

The strawberry margarita I had for my early birthday dinner today (we did it today since it's supposed to rain tomorrow). We ate at Chena's Alaskan Grill, which is where I ate last year too. And weirdly enough, I wore the same shirt this year as I did last year! Haha weirdd. We also got a cake, which I'm eating now..yum!

Yesterday mom and I went to Chena's Alaska Grill to celebrate (dad and Ryan hate going out to eat and didn't go D:). I was looking at the drinks and saw one that said Permafrost Vodka Blue Glacier Martini..I had to try that haha. It was rather strong and I didn't exactly like the flavor, but I still drank most of it (I was paying for it after all :P). It was nice :)

Cats!! :D I've ALWAYS loved cats. Dogs are ok but just..aren't the same (they can't purr! Haha)

Mom did a 12 mile ski on Saturday (*dies*) and yesterday to celebrate we went out to eat and shared a sangria (though I drank most of it since she had to drive haha). It was quite good..sweet and not too strong. I felt kinda weird though :P

Happy 2012! (It's impressive seeing all the years lined up on my LJ when I look at the calendar view haha) I actually didn't watch the ball drop cause Ryan vehemently said he didn't want to haha. So mom and I had some wine and played Mario Party 3 instead. :P There were fireworks at the university but it was way too cold to watch them (-20 at least). Right now it's -29 here and -38 in town..eeeesh haha. I think the Chinooks abandoned us :P

Today I turned 22! I've felt so loved today haha..I got so many birthday wishes online! Pat gave me a card that said "to one of the best friends I have ever known." Awww. The Literacy Council got me a SUPER chocolaty cupcake and they were slow on the card and gift card but hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. I got a $50 amazon.com gift card from Dana! :D I can't wait to use it haha. I went out to lunch with Nina..I got a strawberry daiquiri. It was alright. Mom and everyone are taking me out to dinner tomorrow (since Ryan has to work tonight..it's a surprise where though!) and on Monday I'm going to lunch with Kathy and Pat. Wow haha. Mom picked me up after work and..I went to get my first tattoo ever! I had thought about it for a long time and then suddenly last week the idea came to me and it wouldn't get out of my head. Mom wasn't really thrilled but I'm old enough so..yeah haha. I talked to one of the tattoo artists in the shop and we looked at pics on Google and decided on a pic..which were cat paw prints. He sketched it out and then tattooed it on me. It did hurt but I could stand it for a short time. It was a small one so it didn't take that long. It originally cost $100 but since it was my birthday he only charged me $80! Awww. Then we went to Barnes and Noble and I got some books. Yaay hehe. Great birthday..one of the best!

Yesterday after Dana got home from work we went to a Mexican restaurant by the ocean. I had a strawberry margarita and Dana had a really strong drink (we switched cause mine was too strong haha). This strawberry margarita was way better than the one I had at Chili's..just the right amount of alcohol and flavor. Yum. The food and company was good too..yay hehe. It was really hard to talk after drinking the margarita haha..and I felt all weeee. :P When we got home we watched another episode of Wonders of the Solar System..mmm Brian Cox..

Dana's kitty is liking me more now..yesterday he curled up right next to me..awww. He was so cute hehe

Yesterday we went to the Vallata..dad has been wanting to for awhile. We also celebrated me being in my apartment for a year (still can't believe it..). I tried some sherry wine..it was really good! The vanilla or whatever it was tasted amazingg haha. Mom and dad split a bottle of wine between them too. It was fun. Mom made dad drive home cause she had too much wine haha. :P I felt pretty good too haha (I did drink the whole glass..it wasn't even that big though!). Then after awhile both of us were really tired. :P Haha weird

The girls at mom's work had a Christmas party yesterday..at first mom said I wasn't invited but then she asked someone and she said I could go so I did. They were all fine with me going..mom's coworkers really like me anyway haha (plus they said as long as I was a girl I could come too :P). We had dinner at Zach's in Sophie Station (a hotel). Someone ordered this type of beer but the they didn't have it so she had the waitress list other types..one of which was Oosik something..so she was like "ok give me the Oosik" and we all started laughing haha (an oosik is a walrus penis :P). Then I asked the waitress about mixed drinks and she mentioned Sex on the Beach and asked if I wanted to try it. I was like "...suree" haha. Then the other lady asked if I like orange juice and peach and I said yes so she said the Fuzzy Navel was good too..so mom got that one. I tried Sex on the Beach and it was ok but the Fuzzy Navel was AWESOME. It was sooo good. It's made with orange juice and peach schnapps. Yumm. I don't like strong alcohol so that was like perfect. I even drank the whole glass! Haven't done that before haha. The innuendos were flying too..like "I had sex on the beach and got a fuzzy navel and had lots of oosiks!" It was soo funny haha. The food was good too. Fun times haha

Yesterday we went out to dinner to celebrate dad's retirement, coming here and my parents' anniversary (October 16). I got a Tuaca Hot Apple Pie cocktail. It was pretty good! Ryan had a bunch of it and then acted like he was drunk haha..it was funny :P

Today I turned 21. :D I'm oooold haha. I woke up to a $50 amazon.com gift card from Dana! Yay haha. My coworkers kept telling me happy birthday too. At one point I was in my office and I hear people whispering (like that isn't obvious haha) and I turn around and a couple people were standing outside my office with smiles looking like something embarrassing was about to happen..Becky poked her head in my office and suddenly EVERYONE was there and they sang Happy Birthday to me! OMG I was SOOO embarrassed haha. My face definitely got warm. :P I got a card and a $20 gift card for the store. After mom got off work she came to my work and brought a cake for everyone! It was yummyy. Then we went to my apartment and opened the couple of presents mom brought. I got a fake guitar to hang on the wall! Sweeet haha. We did a couple errands then went to Chili's and got my first legal alcoholic drink haha (my waiter was like "can I see your ID for the first time?" :P). Mom and I both got a strawberry margarita. Mom told them not to make it too strong but they did anyway. :P It was all warm going down haha. Then mom was like "if you drink this much *shows me how much she's drank* it'll make your privates tingly and warm!" I was like "EW MOM WTH??" TMIIII haha. While we were there mom looked outside and was like "it looks like it's gonna storm!" The sky was rather dark and the wind was blowing. When we walked out it was starting to rain and hail..by the time we got to Barnes and Noble (across the parking lot!) it started POURING. There was some pretty loud thunder too..it was pretty sweet. I bought some books and went home. Yay haha
