The spelling bee last night was pretty fun. My parents, Bjorn and Kathy all came to cheer me on. We were the third team to spell..I think our first word was "recidivist" (I don't have the list with me). The sentence they used was "Justin Bieber is a recidivist and should be deported." LOL. It was kinda annoying seeing the teams misspell or throw out easy words ("Farenhight"?!? Really??). I guess they didn't practice. It's always nerve wracking being the one to spell..I make sure to spell super slow so I don't mess up (some people spelled fast! D: That freaks me out haha). We also had words like "hellebore" and "physiotherapist" (perfect for Denise, since she works for a chiropractor haha). One team got bivouac! I was so jealous, I wanted a mountaineering word haha! The team numbers kept getting lower..then there were three left, including us. That team got their word wrong, which left only two left, us and a rotary team!! OMG I was shaking like crazy haha. To win you have to spell two words in a row right..we got our word wrong, so it passed to the rotary team (conveniently they were located right below us haha). They got both their words right and won (the winning word was wharfinger). OMG we were SO happy to get second place though!! Mike said that's the best the LCA has ever done! My team is awesome, we all have different areas we're knowledgeable about (Denise is good with Middle Eastern words since she used to live there, Jackie has been involved with spelling bees a long time so she knows the words well, I'm good with Latin..). It definitely worked well for us! We got a plaque and $15 gift certificates to the bookstore. In all we raised over 23,000!!! A very successful night :) (I also finally met Layla (laylalawlor), who came too! Yay, I love meeting LJ friends hehe)

Today Bjorn came over and we watched The Last Unicorn and a glacier documentary. He brought popcorn even though I had some just cause he wanted to hehe. It was nice. :) He's pretty funny too..like he meowed at Abby and was like "I don't speak fluent cat, just gibberish" LOL. Next month I think we're gonna go to the Hawaiian BBQ restaurant a couple blocks from me..coool

Here are more things Bjorn has said: You truly are a brilliant, beautiful & compassionate woman who has truly changed my life because last year I suffered a couple heartbreaks... and then you appeared, telling me that I had an awesome name and that you remembered me. :) So few people even notice I exist. You mean a lot to me, and I worry sometimes about losing you. I think (and talk) about you often (and my friends hear about my feelings for you quite often). You were (and still are) the silver lining in the cloudy days of 2013 :)

He also said I'm the nicest and most honest girl he knows..he wanted to move back to Hawaii, but because of me he wants to stay. Aww..he is also very nice, polite and understanding. He came to work today..my face hurt from smiling so much after he left hehe. We both want to try to be in a relationship. Mom and I are going to dinner with him tomorrow. Wow, I'm glad I told him I liked his name! Hehe

A year or two ago, a guy named Bjorn volunteered a couple times at the bookstore. I found out he was autistic and told him I was too (I also said I loved his name too haha). I honestly found him annoying and wondered if that was what I was like to other people haha. I saw him on the bus one day too and talked a lot. A long time went by and then kinda recently I saw him at the bookstore again. I said I remembered him and he seemed surprised for some reason. He also seemed different..more mature or something. I could tell he really liked talking to me each time he came in. The other day he asked me if maybe we could be in a relationship and maybe go out for Thai food. He keeps coming in and asking about me..I can tell he has a huge crush on me hehe. He said I'm refreshing and a delight and he really wants to hang out with me. I honestly think we should, even though I'm terrified of dating and stuff haha (I bet it was even scarier for him to ask me out though!). He said he didn't know how to build a relationship with girls either..and since we're both autistic we won't have to worry about being "normal" or whatever. First I should get to know him better though haha. He's 28, so there's not a huge age difference..

Hmm..I just added him on Facebook and I believe this status was about me: "I honestly hope I can get into a wonderful relationship (whatever that may be) with a certain young woman up here. I am honestly attracted to brilliant, compassionate & honest women. A lot of them I am good friends with. :) I just really hope this particular young woman cares as deeply for me as I do for her." D'awww. He also said the women he's attracted to have the same care ethic as Katniss. Awww. Well this is a new feeling for me haha. We'll have to see what happens..I hope it's something good though :D
