Yesterday mom and I went up to Esther Dome. It was a clear (though hazy) day and we could see the Alaska Range..most of it had clouds but not Mt. McKinley! There were no clouds AT ALL..that must be rather rare. The people at Denali yesterday were lucky..though in the afternoon it clouded up on the mountain again (we went up to the college to see). As we were driving back down we saw this guy and he wanted a ride so mom let him. I thought I was gonna get murdered! Sure he was nice but I didn't know him..

Last night I went out to eat and I shall put what it said on the placemat haha

Today was picture day at school for clubs and things like that. I got a pic with Latin club and the special ed kids...Crystal was soooo happy haha :)

My English teacher isn't expecting us to do our project over Thanksgiving Break...thank you very much. I don't think it's as hard as I thought it was going to be though. Here's the poem I'm doing for the project..

The choir or the lead singer wasn't leading the church today...they weren't even at the front. A teenager led the singing today...he was really good! Someone from my class did the sermon too! He didn't seem nervous at all and was very animated and his message was really good

I wrote a poem yesterday on Carcassonne...I can write good poetry if it's freeverse and I'm not forced to rhyme or something...MY POEM'S FROM THE HEART, MAN!

The First Knight soundtrack and Deggial by Therion arrived today...I can't wait to listen to them!!

The Carcassonne tour guide poem is finished. I'll put it here so you can read it:
There was a guide, who walked the road from the past,
Traveling though history in Carcassonne, France.
He did his job well,
There was so much to tell.
He talked for an hour
About the bell tower
Beside the church
Nestled among trees of birch.
His garments had a feel of the past,
So much so I stood there aghast.
His passion for that day,
Caused all to be swept away.
“Step back for the time of your life,” the tour guide said,
“And learn about people from Carcassonne long dead.”
He stood by the wall,
Which could not fall,
Beside it he looked so small.
There was a twinkle in his eyes of green,
As he described the magnificent scene.
He decided to take the story of Carcassonne across the sea,
Cancun, Mexico, was the key.

Yaaaay it's Christmas break! My child development and English 3 exams were easy. In English we finished The Sting we started Monday and yesterday...it's sooooo boring! It has The Entertainer in it...my brother loves to play that song on piano. I hope I have fun classes next semester...

I wanna see Chronicles of Narnia and King Kong soooo bad...and tons of other movies...*wonders why almost all good movies come out around Christmas*

I've been meaning to put my poem I wrote for my English Scarlet Letter project here...I think it's really good even though I'm not good at writing poems...so enjoy...

I got to talk to Amanda yesterday! It wasn't for very long but it was still good...I wish I didn't have stupid TAKS tutoring today cause I missed Amanda...ah well, we shall talk again. I had March of Mephisto stuck in my head during TAKS tutoring...march march yeeeeaaah!

MY HAMMERFALL SHIRT CAME TODAY!!! I'm wearing it now. Weee, finally! Now I'll be happy for awhile.

I found a really cool poem while reading "Angela's Ashes"! Look!

They went forth to battle, but always fell,
Their eyes were fixed above the sullen shields.
Nobly they fought and bravely, but not well,
And sank heart-wounded by a subtle spell.
