There were lotsa epic battles...it was one of the best movies I've ever seen!! I also rented Tornado Warning and tried to watch it but it was sooo stupid and boring I didn't even bother watching the rest. Like...this guy said a tornado was gonna touch down at any moment but there wasn't even a storm cloud!

My Virgin Steele album arrived yesterday...I haven't listened to the whole CD yet but it's pretty good...the singer sounds like Manowar's singer and Iced Earth's singer and sometimes Tobi. My favorite songs so far are Kingdom of the Fearless (the Destruction of Troy) and Invictus

The sermon at church today was very deep and very long...it kinda was hard to pay attention...I can only hold my attention for so long haha. I think the guy did a good job though...it takes talent to look deeply like that. Good job :)

Man...we have to sign up for a topic during speech tomorrow...I really am not sure what to do...I think separation of church and state would be really hard...but I'm not real big on controvercial issues. It's making me stressed...help meeee

This morning mom and I became a member of our church...they announced it and everyone clapped for us *blushes* OMG...the sermon was the best I have ever heard!! I swear it was for me cause he was all talking about what I have been feeling lately!! It was amazing! One of the reasons I'm going to church is to help me with problems I'm having...it's definitely helping :)

I practiced my speech with mom and Kathryn...it has to be five minutes long...I got 4 1/2 minutes with mom and I was 5 seconds away from five minutes with Kathryn...I think that should count haha. Kathryn went to a wedding yesterday and she said it had bells and I thought she said it had elves...lmao

my revised and finished carcassonne essay...enjoy )

Church today was lovely. :) They sang the songs really beautifully. The guy doing the sermon kept walking everywhere haha. Ryan went and didn't like it...he wanted there to be donuts and the grape juice for communion wine. Yeah you go to church for donuts *rolls eyes*

I watched Chicken Little yesterday...I expected it to be stupid but it was sooo good!! Chicken Little rang a bell...at two different times. I was like *squeee* And the message in the movie was really good...always be there for someone no matter what :)

I changed the background of my LJ...go look! It's epic...it's shiny...it's...it's...CARCASSONNE!!!!

"Voices are calling from somewhere below, melting on the eastern shore. Rain is falling down on me, been waiting for eternity"--"Rebellion In Dreamland," Gamma Ray

MY CHURCH IS AWESOME! I enjoyed it way more than last time. The people are nice and the singing is pretty and I love the sermon. We sang this awesome song called Faith is the Victory...I shall post the lyrics. Also the last song...You Are Holy...the men sang one verse and the woman the other (at the same time) and it was soooo pretty!! At my old church I found the sermons boring (maybe cause I was young) but the sermons here aren't boring at all. I can't wait to go back next Sunday!!! :)

This is the best thing Kathryn ever said to me (I was asking what she'd do if I ever lived on the streets): "I'll take you into my home and help you get a job and start a new life." Now that's a true friend :)

lovely song! )
