This is my new favorite song (I'm always late listening to "new" albums lol):

The part from 2:40 to 5:20 is absolutely AWESOME..it is SO epic!! I don't like Tommy Karevik in Kamelot, but he's great in this song (I actually tried listening to Kamelot's album that just came out before I listened to this, but I just don't like his voice in Kamelot..weird lol). The same awesome guitar playing came in again at 11:53, and then FLOOR JANSEN started singing!! YESSS, she is amazing lol. A lot of the time I'll go to listen to an album and be like "ehhh whatever," but I was blown away by this song! Someone commented that "Hansi is the only one that sings like he is leading his massive army to the most epic battle Middle earth have ever seen," and yeah, that's a perfect way to describe his voice lol..it's majestic, as someone else said :P (I still can't get over his short hair lol)

I also really like this one:

Awesome!! Such a happy sounding song about the apocalypse haha

My other favorite is this one:

Wow, amazing! This album is great!!

Today's trivia: Adam Rainer (1899–1950) is the only person in recorded history to have been both a dwarf and a giant. In 1920, when he was 21 years old, he stood only 3 feet 10.5 inches tall. Sometime in his early twenties Rainer experienced an inexplicable and astonishing growth spurt, and by his 32nd birthday, his unusually short stature of under four feet had increased to an unusually tall stature of just under 7 feet 2 inches. At the time of his death, he was measured at 7 feet 8 inches tall

Last night I was on the computer and I look up and suddenly see this black bat thing flying around! I was like "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" and run up to mom's room ("OMG MOM THERE'S A BAT IN THE HOUSE"). She came down but it disappeared. Then after I brushed my teeth I went to go in my room and THE BAT WAS IN THERE!! "AHHH MOM THE BAT'S IN MY ROOM!!" Then after we went to bed the bat was scratching on our doors! Mom went out to try and catch it with a sheet but it disappeared again. I was convinced it was in my closet in my bed :P How on earth did it get in the house..?? And where is it now?? lmao

Last night I bought "Into the Electric Castle," "The Final Experiment," "The Human Equation" by Ayreon and "The Scarecrow" by Avantasia

Mom likes Ayreon..I played her "My House on Mars (awesomeee song) and she said it was weird but she liked the mellowness. I also played her most of "The Shooting Company of Captain Frans B. Cocq" and she liked the mellowness there too. Yay hehe (listening to "My House on Mars" on repeat before bed is a bad idea..)

I was pricing books at work yesterday and I found one on ebay that was $600!! Jeeeez haha

Happy birthday to meee. Yesterday I got THREE packages haha. I got the Ayreon CD I ordered, "Renegade" by HammerFall from Dana (I gave my copy to someone else awhile ago), cards from Grandma Mills, Aunt Gina, Aunt Julie and her kids, and this little notebook thing that describes where Heather came from. Today I got a $100 amazon giftcard from Dana!! Whoaaaa :D

Mom's still sleeping or something haha. Maybe she'll surprise me with something?

Mom and I did errands today. We talked to that girl from Barnes and Noble (her name's Christine) and I filled out a job application. We went to Wal-Mart..I saw a Narnia Prince Caspian birthday card and mom got it for me haha. We also got the Indiana Jones movies, The Golden Compass, and National Treasure: Book of Secrets. We ate lunch at The Cookie Jar restaurant..they had a trivia thing in this booklet with ads. One of the questions was "what's a baby beaver called?" and I guessed kittens..and I was right haha. I was praising myself rather loudly. :P Then we went to the job meeting (with the lady who held the orientation). We taked about stuff and I have another meeting with her on the 11th..I'm gonna meet with a job coach if I can. I feel really dirty after all the stuff we did for some reason :P

I sent the last check from the paid surveys to dad..yesterday he called and said he deposited $20 into my account. My check was only like $10 something and apparently it wasn't worth it to just put that much in. Sooo of course I go to amazon and buy "Universal Migrator Parts 1-2" by Ayreon and a book

Today's stupidest quote: from the poem "The Potato" by Lilian E. Curtis (as collected in the book Very Bad Poetry)
What would this world full of people do,
Rich and poor; high and low,
Were it not for this little-thought of
But very necessary Potato?

Movies watched this week: Evan Almighty, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

I asked Heather if I'd like the new Ayreon album and she sent me a couple of songs (one with Simone Simons..can I steal her hair? Haha). They were decent enough so I bought the album (it's called 01011001) along with Dark Passion Play by Nightwish and Dave Barry's Bad Habits: A 100% Fact-Free Book

Today's stupidest quote: "I was always dreaming about very powerful people--dictators and things like that. I was just always impressed by people who could be remembered for hundreds of years, or even, like Jesus, be for thousands of years remembered" (Arnold Schwarzenegger, in the 1977 film Pumping Iron)
