The randomness of yesterday...
May. 8th, 2005 10:06 amMe and Kathryn made up our first inside joke yesterday! It's "DellaPenna bombardment" (Frank DellaPenna is the carillon guy). Haha I wish I had an amusing last name like that. Yesterday me and my mom listened to DellaPenna with the volume up on my computer and it was fun. "Raging Water" was stuck my head for the rest of the day...you have to hear it! I still feel honored that I got to shake his hand and talk to him...lol yes I'm obsessed...take a look at the carillon: http://www.castinbronze.com/bio.htm and this is DellaPenna, yay!!! http://www.castinbronze.com/history.htm
Yesterday I have never been so full of grief in my life. I came soooo incredibly close to crying after POTO. Trying to make yourself cry feels really weird. I wanted to put No one Would Listen on cause I knew that would make me cry all the way, but my brother came in the room and I gave up all together. I will cry for you Erik, I WILL!
And that Tale of the Mummy movie...well...Gerry died in the 1st 5 minutes of him showing up so I didn't bother to watch the rest...I think I've seen it anyway. And yesterday I got the most email and LJ comments ever. It was from posting on the Gerry and asperger communities
I had a dream I was watching Kingdom of Heaven. It started out in an office type place, then it went to a battlefield, and this girl was about to be captured. She did something with her sword and flipped onto her horse, then twirled her sword with it still sheathed. Then there were these people swordfighting and I was thinking "this isn't a very Star Wars like movie" and at that second Yoda and some other person flew by me holding lightsabers. Then these people were in an underground place and purple things were dripping from the ceiling and absorbing into the floor. Then someone got hit by one, and got electrocuted and fell screaming down a well. "Help! My leg is deformed." In the well were all these people. The guy that fell had blood all over his face and he looked like Piangi or that guy from Mrs. Brown. One person held up her baby and said something like "we're all lepers down here. You're gonna be one too" and the guy looked suspicious and then I woke up
"And finally the silent woods of Valdaran greet the fierce battalion. Victory rides in the heart of all nature, and light and shadows play all over the land"--"Kings of the Nordic Twilight," Luca Turilli
