Today was the math TAKS, and boy is my mind fried. I'm glad that's overwith...and now I can stay up late and sleep in! Now it feels like Friday...

I was talking to someone earlier and I showed them I was reading POTO. She said it was the devil's work and then asked me if I went to church. I said no, and told her I was a Christian. She said I must go to church and asked me if I read The Bible. I said no, and she said I must and then..."I follow all God's rules, I go to church, I read The Bible, I *know* I'm going to Heaven. Jesus is gonna come back, you know, and he's gonna judge people." Sorry, but why is POTO the devil's work?? She hasn't even read it (I know cause she asked me what it was about). And you don't have to go to church to be a Christian...it's not required (but I would like to). And she was talking like she was perfect and never sinned and I was the bad person cause I read POTO and don't go to church! Why is POTO the devil's work??

I think Timeline is gonna be mailed here...the list shows it got the 2 movies I sent back, and Timeline is on avaliable now, so YAY! Amanda said I should watch it 3 times a day for 3 days...LOL...that's a lot of Gerry goodness...am I blushing? *giggles like an idiot*

Edit at 7:50: MUAHAHA!!! TIMELINE IS BEING MAILED!!!! I AM NOT OK! THE LIST SAID IT SHOULD ARRIVE TOMORROW! Ahhhhhh!!!!

Ignore her. She is just one of the religious fanatics that thinks everyone is a sinner. I see a guy on the bus who says the same thing. One day he saw my red hair and said I was the devil's child and I would go to hell. Being that I don't believe in Heaven or Hell, I just laughed at him. Like a person's hair color is going to dictate anything.

My favourite reason for not going to church is simple. I tell them that I could be spending the hours they waste in there making an actual difference in the world. That generally shuts them up. Not that I make much of a difference of the world, but as soon as an opportunity presents itself...

Regarding the whole "Jesus is coming back" thing, they have been predicting that for at least 1500 years. When they first made the prediction, they claimed that the entire world would see it because he would drop through the clouds in a big beam of light. Obviously, this is impossible, since the Earth is not flat like it was thought to be when they made that prediction, so feel free to throw that in their faces. :) But after visiting a church a few times because I liked one of the congregation (long story), I figure that the more you go to church, the less intelligent you are (man, that film's quotes can be applied to *anything*).

Oh, and I hate to seem critical, but the guys in your background pic look sooooooo gay. *laugh*

It's hard to believe anything when you dig around and find elements of it borrowed from a thousand other places. But that's all an aside. As far as the film goes, I was referring to Repo Man. One character states that the more you drive, the less intelligent you are. :)

Well, if your current background is Gerard Butler, then I take it all back. But the pose struck in that other photo just put that idea in my head, and I could no longer hold it back. It's not meant to be an insult or anything, just me venting.

Maybe at this time, the layer of CO2 will have enshrouded the atmosphere so gruesomely that the sky will block out the Sun's light (like in the Matrix) and the entire world will be bathed in perpetual darkness until Jesus breaks through the clouds and the world will be lit up and so everyone will see it (: Obviously the prophets didn't believe the entire world would be able to see the figure of Jesus descending, because he's waaay too small...
