Amazing Alaska pics

Take a look at that site for amazing Alaska pictures, especially Fairbanks. It's sort of shows the beauty of the summer. In the glacier section the fact that there was a picture of Meares Glacier destroying trees made me happy haha (and that it's advancing :D)
Dad said he saw a bunch of Mt. McKinley's glaciers (with moraines!) while flying to Anchorage yesterday. I better be able to see them if I'm able to fly to California haha (and over Canada too!)
Today's trivia: The United States has never lost a war in which mules were used

Date: 2009-10-19 06:03 pm (UTC)I hope I can see cool things when I'm flying from Anchorage to Fairbanks and back, but it might be too dark...I don't know though. I might have better luck with the flight from Seattle to Anchorage.
