Of course I had to pet the cats! Best picture ever :P

I wish I could have seen the eclipse, though I could do without the "world is ending" stuff..every time something like that happens people are like "THE END IS HERE!!" Yeahh, the moon is passing in front of the sun like it has for thousands of years, calm down LOL

The solar eclipse yesterday was pretty cool..Creamer's Field had a bunch of solar telescopes and stuff (way better than mine haha). It was neat seeing the sunspots and the moon covering the sun. That's just crazy to think about haha. We watched till the clouds covered it up (luckily the peak had past). It did get cooler but I'm not sure if it was the eclipse or the clouds. Too bad I couldn't get pics..my camera just showed brightness. Here are some sweet pics though: http://news.yahoo.com/photos/solar-eclipse-photos-from-space-slideshow/satellites-snap-solar-eclipse-pictures-space-photo-195701601.html

Dad bought 3 MORE tamaracks..haha jeez. I don't get his obsession with buying 785874 copies of the same thing :P (we have like 30 water tanks now! D:)

Day 15: A picture something you wish you could forget )

Would you rather super glue your eyes shut or super glue them open? Open..I hope it would come off easy D:

Today's trivia: Seven percent of the average person's body weight is blood

There's a solar eclipse today! In Alaska it starts at 3:20 PM and greatest coverage is at 4:35. I think dad and I are gonna watch at Creamer's Field since they're having a viewing party there. I've never seen a solar eclipse so it should be interesting and awesome. Hope it stays as clear as it is now

Today I've had my LJ 8 years..wow haha

Day 14: A picture of how you are feeling (Smiley face, sad face, angry face, etc.) )

Today at work I started training on the cash register! We've been talking about doing it for months but didn't have a chance till today. I was really scared before (which is why I wished they'd get on with it already :P) but it's not that bad. Paulette is a REALLY good and patient teacher. First I opened the store and then learned the various functions. There's lot of things to remember and do in the right order. I caught on after a few times (though I still made mistakes but that's normal haha). It's actually pretty fun. Hopefully I'll get good at it after awhile haha. It made me feel important..especially since I do a bunch of other tasks as well. Paulette said I did phenomenal :D

Today my coworker Jerri invited me to go hiking at Angel Rocks (on Chena Hot Springs Road) with her and some other coworkers. I of course said yes haha. Hopefully it shall be fun

The solar eclipse is soon I think..though I don't have anything with me to look at it safely. The smoke might obscure it anyway

Day 77 - A picture of you and friends making silly faces )

Would you rather have to try to smash three attacking rattlesnakes with only a bowling ball or try to sit still while thousands of honeybees land on your face, forming a beard? D: *shudders*

Today's trivia: The stegosaurus was a dinosaur with a head so small that the nerve knot in the middle of the back was larger than its brain

Win!

The next Solar Eclipse is 01 June 2011. The event is a partial eclipse at 50.5% (magnitude 0.6010) and is visible from high latitudes in the Northern Hemisphere. The eclipse begins at sunrise in Siberia/northern China at 19:25:18 UT/GMT. Maximum eclipse is on Arctic coast of Western Siberia where the eclipsed Sun will kiss the northern horizon. Most of Alaska and northern Canada will be able to observe the eclipse

Eeee..yay! That is so awesome. It better not be cloudy :P

Day 48 - A picture of you more than 10 years ago )

Would you rather always keep one eye closed or breathe only out of your nose? Breathe only out of my nose

Today's trivia: The highest wave ever recorded was 112 feet high
