Since I had that ultrasound that showed "weirdness" (that's literally what the doctor called it haha) on my liver, the doctor wanted me to have a CT scan, because that would show my insides even better, and the doctor wanted to make sure it wasn't a tumor or something like that. I had it today, and they asked my name and birthday about 50 times, which was quite annoying lol, but it's probably required for safety. I had to drink a couple bottles of water before going, so my bladder was pretty full. They put a warm blanket on me when I laid on the table, and I was like "oooh, fancy service!!" haha. A nurse put an IV in my arm, and injected me with contrast dye, which makes everything inside your body brighter and easier to see. The tech said I'd start feeling it in my neck and then everywhere else, like a hot flash, and it would feel like I had peed my pants. That was definitely what it felt like..the room was a little chilly, so it even felt kind of nice..except then I REALLY had to go to the bathroom haha. The scans didn't take too long, and after that they drew blood for labs, since I already had an IV in lol. I had something propping up my legs, and when they told me to lift up my legs so they could take it away..I absolutely peed in my pants some! When I sat up, more came out (sorry, TMI lol). How embarrassing! My bladder was ridiculously full though. :P They said someone would call in a day or two, but I checked my online chart and the results were already there! No mass in the liver, just some fat, and "lumbosacral spondylosis," which is when the bones and discs in the lower back degenerate. Oh, that's nice. O_o I must lift too many boxes at work, or I'm just getting old LOL (now that I'm aware, my back does hurt a bit right now. Oh dear!). The labs showed things like low calcium and protein, but that's hopefully easily fixable. Hopefully the doctor will call and I can get more information then. I'm glad it wasn't anything too crazy though! (I never got the results of the stool sample test back though..I'll ask the doctor when they call me)
