Fairbanks is meltingggg..it may have gotten to 40 today. There's melt puddles on the roads and you can even see grass in places! WHOA..the record high for today was 61 in 1997! That must have been crazy!!

I have to fill out a bunch of papers for AmeriCorps (the company that's paying me to stay with the bookstore). Becky is gonna fax it over to them or something on Thursday (their place is in Anchorage). Ooh and I learned today that fax is short for facsimile..and I learned that the Tanana River is the most unobstructed river in North America..

Yay spring thaws! That must be so nice...I know it's nice to see the flowers starting to bloom on the trees and stuff here. *Purr*

I was reading this article on CNN today about the top 10 most endangered rivers in America and one or two of them was in Alaska...the names didn't sound familiar to me though.
