Today I had a meeting with Nina and Mary..Nina had talked to Becky and they really really value me at the bookstore and they really don't wanna lose me. They think of me as an employee rather than just a volunteer. I'll even get to be in meetings with Becky and Holly (the bookstore manager). Becky (or someone) wrote a letter to Mary saying maybe they could get me a part time paying position!! (DVR is paying me now) AHHH YAY I've hoped they would do this for MONTHS! EEEE :D

Bidarka: The Russian word for kayak. The Aleuts hunted seals, sea lions and even whales from bidarkas, using harpoons and darts thrown from throwing boards. Bidarkas were usually one-man craft
