Obama won! The excitement over him reminded me of the excitement over Kennedy. I voted for him too. This could be one of the great moments in history. Hopefully he'll help the country

I was watching the news in my Current Events group and I saw it flash by on the bottom of the screen that Michael Crichton died! That made me sad. :( I had no idea he wrote the Texas and Hawaii books! I read Jurassic Park, I enjoyed it. It does get way scientific at times, but even so, it was still a good book.

It's so sad about Michael Crichton. I only read Timeline by him...loved that book so much, and I have another book of his that I need to read. And I was so happy about Obama winning too. I had my mind set on voting for him ever since he won the primaries.

Yeah that was a great book. And he impacted us a lot..with books, movies made from his books, ER..*sniff*

Oh yeah..McCain is ooold and we needed a change from Bush's policies anyway (even though I did support him for awhile)
