I heard yesterday that these scientists built this machine so they could reenact the Big Bang. People thnk it will cause black holes and we'd all die (the machine is gonna create small black holes that will apparently disappear on their own). Earlier today they did tests just to test the function of it. They're gonna do the real test (smashing particles together and verrrry high speeds) "soon." And I read that their really big tests (yeah..like recreating the Big Bang isn't big) are gonna be four years from now..which happens to be 2012..when the Mayans predicted the end of the world. How nice :P

I printed out that article today to discuss in my Current Events group, but we never got around to it. I couldn't believe what I was reading! It's times like these when I feel like the human race itself is just going to be the reason for its extinction haha. Creepy.
