Jo's birthday and new house!

glacier_kittyYesterday was Jo's birthday, so me, mom, Ryan and a friend of theirs took him to dinner, and then went back to his apartment (where a couple other friends stopped by) and had cake and opened presents..it was fun, they have a good sense of humor haha. We also went to dinner because...they finally closed on the new house today!! They've been busy packing, because they want to get the other house on the market before winter hits. Mom and I at least are very sad about leaving such a beautiful area, but it's just too much work for my parents now. I'm sure the new house will have its perks lol. It's funny..right before moving into my apartment in 2010, dad painted my room and put some glacier pics on the walls..and we've never had the heart to take them down until now haha. We'll do a lot of the moving this weekend (we hired a bunch of strong guys to help us haha), and hopefully I'll get some pics soon!

It was some kind of almond cake, since Jo is on a special diet because he has an ulcer. It was pretty good, especially the whipped cream :P

23. Would you rather be a famous actor or a famous director? An actress, I suppose, though I'd hate having no privacy D:
24. If you won a huge lottery, with more money than you could use, what charitable organization or civic donation would you fund? Animal ones, like Tabby's Place (a cat sanctuary..I sponsor a special needs cat there), the ASPCA, etc
25. What three fictional characters (from film, TV, or books) do you most strongly identify with? Hermione, Belle (at least the books part :P), Denise (the autistic character from On the Edge of Gone)
26. What did you enjoy doing most today? Working the register, etc
Today's trivia: The hand and footprints tradition in front of Los Angeles's Chinese Theater started accidentally when silent film actress, Norma Talmadge stepped on wet cement
