glacier_kittyUghh I changed my LJ to the "new" design hoping that would solve the Photobucket problem, but it didn't..I don't really like it, but I guess I have to live with it now. :/ My pictures work other places, like Dreamwidth, so LJ must have changed something..weird
I keep meeting the coolest people lately..a customer came in wanting to donate books, and Paulette asked what kind of books he had. He was like "Alaska, climbing, polar exploration.." Well THAT caught my attention lol..I asked which ones and he said "all of them! Like a first edition of Nansen's book with color plates." Ooooh! I asked if he had The Worst Journey in the World and he was like "Apsley Cherry-Garrard?" ("SQUEE *nods excitedly*") "Yeah, that book got me to the right place in Antarctica." He had gone to Scott's hut!! OMG. OMG. Jealous! I MUST get there someday! I'd love to browse that guy's library, it sounds amazing :D
