Back in Fairbaaaanks
Jun. 22nd, 2009 07:18 pmDrove home today..Jackie was in Anchorage with her daughter (they're gonna take the train to Seward and go on a glacier cruise) so we met up with them and hung out for a little bit. It rained from Seward to Anchorage..apparently the coast is always rainy (and snowy in the winter) like that..ugh (well..it is what makes the glaciers haha. I wonder why those over there are even retreating since it doesn't exactly get that warm and it snows so much). It's warm in Fairbanks though. We got some lunch at Wasilla (Sarah Palin's hometown! Haha). At one point you could see Ruth, Buckskin and Eldridge glaciers from the road (though the trees were mostly in the way). I looked hard and at the last second I spotted Eldridge before you couldn't see it anymore haha. I'm actually gonna work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday so I'll hopefully get my pics up tomorrow!
