Yesterday mom and I went geocaching with our friends Tony and his wife Danelle up the Steese Highway. We wanted to get to mile 85 at Birch Creek to get the cache there, but at mile 82 near Eagle Summit the wind was CRAZY. The wind was blowing at least 50 MPH and it was 1 degree..the windchill must have been -30 or -40!! We still managed to get the cache that was there haha..we're so hardcore. :P Now I see why they close Eagle Summit when there's a snowstorm or something. Still a nice drive, I'd never been that far up the Steese Highway before. I got six caches altogether (we were hoping to get more, but not all of them were winter friendly). I now have 400 caches, yay! We ate dinner at Chatanika Lodge and then went home (so tiredd). Hopefully we can go on more road trips together!

Today's trivia: When George Washington died of pneumonia in 1799, his family put him on ice for three days. The White House physician asked to revitalize him by pumping his veins full of lamb's blood and his lungs full of air. Martha Washington declined the offer
