Since I'll be traveling to Payson tomorrow, here's the books I read in November:

Dewey's Nine Lives: The Legacy of the Small-Town Library Cat Who Inspired Millions by Vicki Myron (Nov 11-18)
The Horse Boy: A Father's Quest to Heal His Son by Rupert Isaacson (Nov 18-25)

Tonight I start on the journey to Payson! It's supposed to be in the 50s and 60s this week, so that'll be nice. Too bad I'm gonna miss work's Christmas party and the geocaching Christmas party though..they're both so fun! I can't wait to see Dana! I'll update when I can :)

The Call of the Ice: Climbing 8,000 Meter Peaks in Winter by Simone Moro (Sept 24-28)

A Cat Named Darwin is one of the WORST books I have ever read. The guy didn't even like cats at first and said stuff like "cats are dumb and useless beasts and humans are the best things ever." Eventually he found out Darwin had leukemia and he kept getting sicker until he couldn't eat anymore and his stomach was tender and the guy was like "well if he can't eat himself, I'm going to MAKE him eat" and force fed him with a dropper. WTF?? Why even keep him alive at that point? He even adopted another cat, which attacked Darwin..he guy was so angry he wanted to pound the other cat into the ground, but instead sprayed his face with a bottle till it was dripping. Then he decided to leave poor Darwin outside. He kept bragging about how he killed/abused animals in the name of science. Ughhh. When he did finally decide to put Darwin to sleep, he didn't even stay with him in the room. If that was me, I'd be cuddling Abby till the end. I felt so bad for Darwin..he suffered needlessly for months..the guy should never have owned cats. That book made me sad and angry..poor kitty :(

The Cat Who Couldn't See in the Dark: Veterinary Mysteries and Advice on Feline Care and Behavior by Howard S. Padwee (Feb 17-27)

Eesh, didn't so quite as good this month. :/ I've been having problems with anxiety and migraines, which makes it hard to read. One day Excedrin and two Motrins didn't help, so I had to go to the clinic and they gave me a couple shots, which thankfully helped. While waiting for the nurse I just started sobbing cause I was tired of being in pain all the time. My regular doctor prescribed me a migraine medicine you take at night..it's supposed to make you sleepy and it can help anxiety and depression. I hope it works..I wanna feel "normal" again lol. I also made an appointment with this person that does deep tissue massages..my doctor said it worked for her headaches, so hopefully that'll work too
