1. Whenever I board a commercial airliner, I always touch the outside of the plane with my right hand for good luck. I've done that ever since I was a kid

2. Eyes scare me (especially close ups) and make me uncomfortable, probably cause of my autism. Just this weekend my family and I were watching Wayward Pines..the first episode opened with a close up of someone's eye. Ryan kept pausing it there to keep freaking me out LOL. Sometimes close ups of eyes actually makes me nauseated. I do look people in the eye, but it's not always easy

3. I taught myself how to read. Mom told me when I was really young and during car rides I would read the signs along the road. She was so surprised, since she hadn't taught me! It just felt natural I guess..

4. I'm terrible at math..I can do well if taught by the right teacher, but I will forget everything a few weeks later

5. I try to be as optimistic as possible. It just makes life easier, and makes the people around you happier too!

6. I have anxiety, depression, migraines and acid reflux, probably cause trying to function around "normal" people is exhausting and takes a lot of effort. Sometimes I come home absolutely exhausted after being around people. Dealing with my inner demons (thinking something bad is gonna happen if I don't do something) probably contributes to that too

7. I love clouds and weather..that was passed on to me from my mom, who worked for the National Weather Service and had to know about weather for her air traffic control job too. I love drooling over clouds with her haha (I saw some pretty cool storm clouds walking home from work today too!)

8. I collect rocks from cool places I go to, like glaciers, Sedona, etc. It has to be unique though

9. I LOVE the feeling of being underwater..it's so peaceful and pretty. I also love underwater pictures, especially when the light is ripply and cool looking!

10. My skin is very sensitive, which makes buying clothes annoying. I hate jeans, super tight things, scratchy things, etc. I just feel SO miserable and uncomfortable if I'm wearing something like that (mom told me even as a baby if I wore tights I would get fussy)

11. I have always loved animals, especially cats. My heart breaks every time I hear about hurt/abused animals. I don't understand how people can do things like that..

12. I LOVE survival stories..it's amazing what people can go through and still be alive! (I recently read Endurance, about Shackleton's boat getting stuck in the ice and stuff..AMAZING story!!)

13. I have to sleep with white noise, otherwise random sounds just bug me (especially other people breathing..for some reason that makes me so uncomfortable..)

14. I've usually made friends with people much older than me (even as a kid)..maybe I relate to them better or something. A lot of people my age or younger make me uncomfortable for some reason

15. When I was a kid I loved watching the washer spin the clothes around when I opened the cover. I was SO disappointed when we got a washer that stopped moving whenever you opened it haha!

16. I'm not sure why this number feels lucky to me, but it just is and I feel connected to it lol

OMG that's so messed up that Ryan does that to you with the close-ups of eyes. What a little brother thing to do, ha.

I totally agree about falling asleep with white noise too... I fall asleep SO MUCH EASIER with it. One of the reasons why I love love love sleeping with fans and my Rain, Rain app on my phone :)

I have a white noise app on my phone too called Endless White Noise haha..it's a lifesaver when I have nothing else to use!
