glacier_kitty1. Where and how did you learn to swim? I took swimming lessons at the YMCA in Texas I think..
2. How far away is the nearest swimmable body of fresh water, and how’s the swimming there? You could probably swim in Ballaine Lake (about 5-10 minutes away from my parents' house) if you wanted to..it's probably too cold though :P
3. How long has it been since you’ve been for a swim? That was in March at Key West
4. What’s the nearest community swimming pool like? Don't know, I've never been there
5. What experience do you have with jumping off stuff and into water? I jumped off the diving board a lot as a kid..

Date: 2014-09-06 03:13 am (UTC)2. How far away is the nearest swimmable body of fresh water, and how’s the swimming there? Of FRESH water...?? I really am not sure. Maybe Lake Cuyamaca, which is about an hour drive. But the Pacific Ocean is only about 15 minutes away.
3. How long has it been since you’ve been for a swim? I went for a swim in the pool a couple of weekends ago, at the end of August.
4. What’s the nearest community swimming pool like? It's fine... My boyfriend swims there A LOT. It's pretty busy because of different school activities that are involved there, and because there are lots of other people like Matt who do serious swimming for exercise.
5. What experience do you have with jumping off stuff and into water? I never really liked doing it all that much, but I jumped off the side of the pool into the pool a few times. I was always too nervous to jump off diving boards.
