Trio of earthquakes

Yesterday evening I was just sitting online when I heard this noise like a loud car was going by the house..then I felt the shaking and realized it was an earthquake. It felt like it lasted at least 15 seconds..it rattled the pictures on the walls. It was a 5.07 43 miles north of here..one of the biggest I've felt! It amused me how everyone on Facebook was immediately like "EARTHQUAKE!!" haha. I hadn't felt one in awhile. During the night I felt two more, a 3.49 at 12:10 and a 4.19 at 4:25 (aftershocks maybe?). There have been other aftershocks not felt here though. Kinda scary, but exciting haha. I wonder if there will be any more aftershocks felt here..

That's awesome that you felt those earthquakes! I bet those other two you felt were aftershocks, like you were thinking. My other friend who lives in Fairbanks, David, also felt all three of them! (BTW, let me know if you ever run into him, his name is David Reichert haha. I think he lives in Fairbanks because his wife is in the military. You can find him on my FB, I am sure.)

Like I was telling you, I feel like we are way overdue for an earthquake here in the San Diego area. The last one I actually felt was in March of 2013, and that one was just a small tremor (maybe a 4.0 or something along those lines).
