Kayaking and caching at Chena Lakes
Jul. 31st, 2014 09:05 pmToday mom and I went geocaching at Chena Lakes with Bonnie, our geocaching friend. I'd never really hung out at the lakes before, so it was cool to see something new. I'm glad it wasn't a clear day, it was hot enough as it was! We found 7 caches in total..pretty good. No motorboats are allowed there, so it was pretty calm and peaceful. The mosquitoes were INTENSE though..OMG. My ankles got eaten up. Ugh..SO tired of mosquitoes. It was fun caching with Bonnie, I hope we can go again soon (though we're going to BOW next week and possibly Valdez after [YAY!], so definitely then haha). After that we had dinner at Pagoda..yumm. I shall post my pics tomorrow!
It's called Fall of the Phantom Lord..it's kinda about a rock climber who likes to BASE jump and kinda about the author's life. I'm hoping to finish it tonight, then I'll have four books read this month, even with being sick haha

Today's trivia: During his presidency, John Quincy Adams enjoyed skinny-dipping in the Potomac River in the early mornings
