Rubber Ducky Race

Today was the annual Rubber Ducky Race on the river (it's part of Golden Days, celebrating when gold was found in Fairbanks). Usually they drop the ducks from a tarp thing hanging from the bridge but this year they decided to use a front loader. The race was over pretty quickly since the river is high and flowing fast. I didn't win anything (that would be hard I think..there's 7,000 ducks!) but it's still amusing to watch :P

Hehe I always love looking at the pictures from the rubber ducky race!! Such an awesome and weird tradition, but in a very cool way lol. That one pic of the frontloader dumping off all the ducks in the river is definitely very cool! Hehe yay! It looks like it was a beautiful day too :)
