Warm winter

Wow..it's been so warm, almost all the snow has melted from the Black Rapids area in the mountains. Crazyy. That can't be good for Black Rapids Glacier though :(

Yesterday I tried calamari for the first time (mom and Laurie ordered this hot appetizer platter and I felt adventurous haha). It wasn't even that bad! I also tried tzatziki, which was delicious. Mmm food..

OMG that does NOT look like Alaska in February!! That is soooo crazy. I can't believe how mild of a winter you guys have had.

Mmm I love calamari and tsatziki - SO good!! I don't often order calamari, but when I do I never regret it :P Tsatziki is great on certain kinds of sandwiches too, and it's healthier than a lot of other dips.

I love calamari! If it's done right, anyway. Calamari done wrong is HORRIFIC.

Alaska is looking like IL in winter, and currently here in IL we're getting all of Alaska's snow...boo!
