I was so happy work was open today haha..yesterday was lonely and boring. :P This week has been so weird haha. People are still without power..wow. The newspaper asked on their Facebook page what people were doing in the storm..I answered "listening to music and cuddling with my kitty :D" and today they published some of the responses in today's paper..and mine as one of them! Wow, I didn't expect that haha

1. Growing up, what was your favorite thing about your birthday? The festive atmosphere about it, the attention, cake, presents, the way my mom would decorate the morning of so I would wake up to balloons and confetti lol.
2. What was the best present you've ever received? Vacations, getting one of my credit cards paid off, etc.
3. What kind of cake did you usually have at your party? Ice cream cake.
4. Did you have 2 separate parties: one for family, one for friends? I usually just have a friends party now, since my family lives across the country.
5. Do you still have birthday parties? In an adult sense lol.

I now know that when you do the Festive Five's I'm supposed to answer them (I didn't do that last time, cause I just thought they were just there for you) I'm weird, sorry.

Ugh not having power for some time sucks! We have a generator due to part of my bros business being in the house and we have to keep that up and running.

1. Growing up, what was your favorite thing about your birthday? family time and childhood parties with friends where we played pin the tail on the donkey, pinata, etc.

2. What was the best present you've ever received? There's so many, but a vacation with my dad as one and another would be the stuffed animal Tiger I was given for strength cause I was having a rough year that year.

3. What kind of cake did you usually have at your party? My mom/dad always made our bday cakes - we'd say what we wanted and they'd make it. I don't really care for cake anymore for my bday - individual cheesecakes or fruit tarts is what I get now :)

4. Did you have 2 separate parties: one for family, one for friends? After awhile parties with friends just stopped and it's always been just dinner/dessert, open gifts at home with mom and dad. I'll go out with friends on a different day and they'll treat me to something as it was my bday.

5. Do you still have birthday parties? Last actual party I had would be when I was 18. Now it's just get together's and family time or me time.
