Ew freezing rain

We did not escape the freezing rain this time. School was canceled..I called work and they were open so I decided to go if it was safe. It was more like a mist than rain. It was ok walking..nothing like the ice storm a couple years ago when you could barely walk without falling over. We weren't sure if there were gonna be any customers, but there were! Alaskans are tough haha. ;) We were gonna close at 12, but then the mist changed to heavy snow, so we decided to stay open till 2. When I went home the snow changed to these ice pellet things. Mike said if schools are closed again tomorrow we'll probably close too. Maybe I'll go to the movies with mom if that happens..





Would you rather in a fit of anger and frustration, curse someone who cut in line in front of you at a movie for their race or sexual preference? That is awful..

Today's trivia: Thomas Edison designed a helicopter that would work with gunpowder. It ended up blowing up and also blew up his factory

Oh mann, I saw your pictures before!! That looks crazy. At least it changed to snow, I'd so go for that over freezing rain any day. That's good that your work was open, OF COURSE Alaskans came to buy books - you're right, they are tough! Haha.
