Back in England

Yesterday we left Switzerland. :( We had to change trains in Bern and Geneva before getting to Paris (it seemed we left the mountains fast :(). Thankfully we had a bus take us to the other bus station there. Omg..driving in Paris is CRAZY. It doesn't really seem like there's rules and lanes so everyone's driving every which way and trying to squeeze in at weird angles and bikes/motorcycles are squeezing between the cars too. Crazyy. D: But we made it to the station ok and then rode the train back to London. We said bye to the group (*sniff*) and found our cab (same guy as last time) and drove to grandma's house. So nice to sleep! Today is laundry day, we have a mountain of dirty clothes haha

The guide told us this cat lived at the restaurant we ate at and would walk with hikers down the trail and would wait for like 2 hours to walk up with people (the guide said the cat wanted to walk with her haha). Awwww..I would love to hike with a cat haha. Too bad the cat died. :( They had postcards, but I had forgotten to get one after that long hike up the hill..luckily someone else got one and I got this pic

I think this is the Rhone River..the border of Switzerland and France maybe. This river comes from the Rhone Glacier!

Driving in Paris does NOT sound like fun - eek! Glad you made it back to England safe and sound.

I can not even express how in awe I am every time I look at your Switzerland pictures. I mean - I've BEEN there but I am still blown away by the scenery! Such gorgeous scenery. That's awesome that there was a swingset haha I would have definitely wanted to swing on them too! The pic of you petting the kitty is so adorable, the cat looks SO happy to be getting attention from you! Awwww :) Lake Geneva! I've seen Lake Geneva before haha. That's so cool that you saw real edelweiss too.
