Yeah, I have had some of those things said to me before..like "you must be really high functioning! You seem so normal, I never would have guessed!" and "stop making excuses to be rude to people." Honestly, sometimes I do something and I don't even know it's rude..I always have to learn that the hard way haha. I'm not TRYING to be rude..jeez (I feel like I've posted this video before..weird)

I definitely do remember seeing that video before, though I don't remember where. It's pretty great. "I like autistic people just as much as I like real people!" LOL. I at first thought the mug she is carrying said "Sycuan" (one of the local casinos around here), but it actually says "Sylvan", as in the learning centers, I'm guessing.

Haha I also find it cute when cats drool because they're so happy about something :)

Some of my closest friend are autistic or asperger's. It makes me bristle when people are ignorant about it too! -.-

I think the image most people get of autistic people is the very severe one,where someone just sits in a corner rocking back and forth and not able to communicate with others at all so they will be surprised at autistic individuals being able to act "normal" (ughhh).
It's still really ignorant though,of course. I am glad to have met you because it made me learn a lot about Asperger's/autism :)
