glacier_kitty1. What’s something non food-related you have to go to a nearby town to do because the town where you live doesn’t have it? Go to a real mall haha (not so nearby when it's 6 hours away :P)
2. What’s something you go to a nearby town to do because your town’s version of it isn’t as good? ..go to the mall :P
3. What’s something people in nearby towns come to your town to do? Stock up on groceries (people come from the bush and can have like two carts full of stuff!)
4. In what way are residents of a nearby town different from residents in your town? People in Anchorage aren't as tough as we are ;)
5. Many towns give themselves nicknames, like “______ Capital of America” or “America’s ___________est Town” or “Home of __________.” What would be a good nickname along these lines to give the town where you live? "Home of Weather That's Never Normal." Haha!
The bookstore does First Friday for kids every month..this month we had snowcones and facepainting! (Kids got a free book too) Of course I chose a kitty hehe

2. What’s something you go to a nearby town to do because your town’s version of it isn’t as good? I think this is going to be a difficult Friday Five for me, considering I live in a pretty big city haha.
3. What’s something people in nearby towns come to your town to do? Go to the beach, go to pretty good restaurants, go to museums, go see a MLB or NFL game, etc.
4. In what way are residents of a nearby town different from residents in your town? People in El Cajon are a bit more rugged and edgy than most San Diegans.
5. Many towns give themselves nicknames, like “______ Capital of America” or “America’s ___________est Town” or “Home of __________.” What would be a good nickname along these lines to give the town where you live? "The City of Perfect Weather"!
