SCARBOROUGH FAIRE!!!

glacier_kittyOMG I went to Scarborough Faire today! It's the Renn-fest that I went to almost every weekend and a school trip last year, and 1 day the year before last. Man I love that place! It's soooo fun! I got sunburned lol. We saw all our favorite things, of course (a worker even recognized us! Yay!). But the best part was new. It had nothing to do with swords or anything like that. It had to do with music. It's called a carillon. It kinda works like a piano, but it has bells. It weighs like 4 tons, I think. It's the only traveling carillon in the world. The guy who played it was AWESOME!!! When we 1st watched the show (we saw it twice) we sat where we could see the bells, but we couldn't see how the guy played it. We sat in the front row too close to the speakers lol. He played a few songs...I was thinking how good the end would be...and the end came, and guess what song it was? O FORTUNA!!! OMG it was *amazing*!!! He also played POTO, but I only caught it the 2nd time. The 2nd time we sat where we could watch the guy play. It was cool! The guy reminded me of Erik cause of the way he played and he wore a mask. I love how he plays...*sigh* Both times I saw it he definitely had the most fun on O Fortuna. After the show we got all of his CDs and got them autographed!! I told him how much I loved O Fortuna and he agreed it was a powerful song. And I got to shake his hand!!! I was sooo happy! This is his last weekend there...I'm glad I got to see him! We might go to the Faire again if my mom gets Mother's Day off. I hope she does! I wanna wear my sword again lol...
