A couple days ago I took a quiz and it asked when I last found a new musical artist I liked..I had to choose the "You honestly can't remember" option. That..bothers me. I need to fix this haha. My playlist felt like it was getting stale anyway. So..anyone have any requests for me? I like metal (HammerFall, Kamelot, etc. No death metal please!), Enya, epic classical, Owl City, etc. Suggest away! Haha

You might already have her stuff, but if you like Enya, you should check out Loreena Mckennitt. She's fantastic! And for classical...I don't know if he'd be considered epic, but I think Schubert is phenomenal. He's my very favourite composer after Tchaikovsky.

Seconded, Loreena is awse! :D I'm really getting into Halestorm now. And then if you want calmer (Halestorm certainly is not), how about Heather Nova? Or, if metal, Sirenia? You probably know Stratovarius, Theatre Of Tragedy, The Sins Of Thy Beloved, Tristania. Hm... The first two albums from After Forever (Prison of Desire and Decipher) were good, if you like music kind of like Within Temptation. Barksten. Um... My musical taste is a little broad. :P As for classical, I like Mendelssohn. ^_^

I'm not sure if you would like her music, but maybe try listening to Florence & the Machine? She has a great voice and some of her songs are really epic. Try "Only If For A Night" or "Shake it Out", maybe. It's worth a try :)
I've been getting into metalcore/screamo lately but I guess that's not your cup of tea at all :)
