That is SUPER AWESOME!! Ice music! The professor showed it in class today (she called it an "intellectual break" haha). I didn't even know you could do that with ice..

OMG..I don't want the glacier class to end. :( Of course I feel a connection to the teacher but she's just supported my glaciologist dream so much. She said if I got funding (I emailed that guy too..I hope he answers!) she would help me put the research together and stuff. When I think about not seeing her teaching anymore and listening to her awesome accent (haha) I just feel so deeply sad. I definitely hope to work with her if I get funding!! Also someone in the class asked since there was so much snow in the Anchorage area last winter if any of the glaciers gained mass and the professor said yes! I had been wondering about that. Awesomee :D

That is seriously so cool... They should make CDs of that just to be able to listen to... It could be really soothing or really fun, I feel like.

Your teacher sounds awesome and I'm glad that this class has been so inspirational and motivating for you! It's great when you take classes that have that lasting effect on you... Those were the kinds of classes that made me love college so much. Yay! I hope the person you emailed emails you back too!
