Not sure what time we're leaving..but I gotta write about last night! I checked the aurora forecast and it said active! (4 out of 9) Ryan went outside at 10 something and said the Northern Lights were out. We got dressed up and walked to the top of the hill. Mom took her camera and she got some AWESOME shots! The lights were bright green but not moving much. Eventually I went back with Ryan cause I was freezing haha. I still checked outside..after a few times I saw this realllly bright streak stretching across the sky. I waited outside cause those are known to be good haha. And it was..suddenly they got bigger and started moving like crazy and turning purple! And I was just watching from the porch staring straight up! That's just awesome haha. They're always different and it's just amazing..

That's a great shot! The aurora's supposed to be active again tonight (because of the solar flare) so I'm hoping I get some more time to watch.
