Juneau time

glacier_kittyMom has to go to Juneau for her job..if she stays up here she doesn't know if she'll have continued employment (air traffic controllers have to be off the "floor" which is talking to pilots by a certain age). Mom wants a staff position up here but doesn't know if any are gonna open up. There's one in Juneau though..so to be safe that's where she's going. She's gonna visit up here as much as she can..and hopefully we'll visit her too! This may be for a little more than a year..mom may retire after that (or she'll come back up here if a staff position opens here). We'll stay up here unless we love it down there too much haha. I was definitely sad at first but mom was like "think of all the glaciers you'll see!" haha. There are definitely lots of glaciers down there. I'm sad and excited at the same time haha

Date: 2011-03-10 02:05 am (UTC)About the Juneau situation, that IS true that you would be able to see a lot of glaciers! Haha. Maybe some things will change and a staff position WILL open up...that would be awesome and make things much easier probably haha.
