Snowpocalypse Chapter 2: Blizzarding

Yesterday all day it was windy..though it changed from clouds to blue sky to clouds again. I kept waiting for them to unleash snow..it reminded me of waiting for a thunderstorm in Texas. :P After I got to mom's house it started snowing and REALLY got windy. The trees and snow were blowing like crazy! It was AWESOME haha. The wind got up to 50 miles an hour! Then all of a sudden I saw one of the huge tall spruce trees go down!! I went outside to see (mom and I are adventurous haha) and it was split near the bottom. Aw..I liked that tree! It looks so lonely without it there. Maybe we'll use it for firewood. Ryan and dad are gonna come back to Fairbanks (they're stuck in LA) and be like "what the heck happened??" haha. I have pics and a video that I shall post now

hahaha, I lol'd at Abby being out in the snow. XD

We're expecting a winter storm here in Flagstaff this weekend. Not quite as intense as that, but still... last I checked, the forecast was 30mph winds and up to foot of snow? I'll admit I'm a little excited. :P

OMG I can't get over the visibility...it looks like you can barely see in front of you! Poor Abby hehe...that's pretty much how Indra reacted to being out in the snow. She was not a happy kitty. :P That would be nice to use the fallen tree for firewood...at least it can give back to you 'til the end.
