Last night I was in bed and suddenly there was this big JOLT for a few seconds. I figured it was an earthquake but it still startled me haha. Today I went online and saw it was a 3.1 5 miles from Fairbanks. I hadn't felt an earthquake in quite awhile..yay haha

Today's trivia: "Under the weather" is an old sailor phrase. When men were sick, they would rest below the weather deck and thus were literally "under" the weather on deck

YAY! Earthquake! Heehee. I think it was the last one I felt that also had a big jolt to it. "They" were saying that that was rather unusual for the ones we've been feeling here recently, because most of them have been "rolling". The jolt was the part that scared me the most! Haha.
