I kept noticing my coworker Denver falling asleep while he was trying to clean books..I told Becky (which I was supposed to do) and she went back to talk to him. Then Denver came up to me and was like "we have a problem" and started freaking out on me. He said I was spying on him, backstabbing him, saying stuff like quitting (??), etc. I was bawling in the middle of work. He forgave me though and we went to lunch..he didn't really seem to happy there either. He had to take time off work to get things under control again..one of his medications was making him sleepy and I think the doctor fixed it. I saw him recently and he looked MUCH better..he was alert and wasn't slurring his words. Hopefully he'll be ok when he returns next month

OMG that's actually kind of scary and really good that you told someone. It could have been something really bad if his medication wasn't working properly for him (especially if it was at the point where he was slurring his words), and I really hope he's grateful now that he's feeling so much better! Ugh, I hate that kind of confrontation, especially when it's at work where you just want to go about doing your thing and be drama-free! Eesh.

I think it was the right thing to do to tell Becky. After all,something could have been seriously wrong with Denver. I guess he just took it the wrong way and thought you wanted to make him look bad in front of other co-workers.
But I'm glad he forgave you and I hope he'll get well soon.
