Writer's Block: Forget me not

I was swinging in the swing in my backyard (like this one http://www.justoutdoortoys.co.uk/userimages/JOT-BABYRLUX.jpg) and mom came out and was like "comb your hair!" and I was like "no!" haha. I kinda tend to remember things that made an impression on me so I guess it did haha. Though I keep wondering if it's real or a dream..
Lately there's been a geomagnetic storm (a really strong burst of solar wind which makes active Northern Lights) and I was disappointed I didn't get to see it. Last night mom called and was like "the Northern Lights are awesome! They all turned PINK!" She told me to look and see if I could see them and I went to the darkest room I could find (the laundry room :P) and I actually COULD see them even though I'm in the middle of town. Of course they were washed out by the lights but there were many streaks across the sky. They must have been really bright at mom's house. The storm is still going on today and I was hoping mom could take me over there tonight so I could see them but now it's cloudy..boo
Would you rather have your only toy be an Etch-A-Sketch or a container of silly putty? This question is irrelevant to me :P
Today's trivia: First "rock star": Franz Liszt, in the 1840s. Women used to fight over the Hungarian composer's handkerchiefs. They wanted them as souvenirs
