Northern Lights!!
Oct. 23rd, 2009 04:53 pmLast night I heard the Northern Lights were supposed to be out so I kept checking and eventually I saw a white streak in the sky. I watched from my bedroom window (how many people can say that?? Haha) until I thought I saw them getting more intense and went into the backyard..and gaped. Man they were bright green and moving and I was liked SQUEEEEE haha. I woke up mom and Ryan and we all watched them from the backyard. This had to be one of the best shows I've seen so far..they were moving and dancing and turning purple-pink and doing crazy things I'd never seen it do before haha. And they lasted for quite awhile too! It was sweet they were right above our house too haha. I so wish Dana could have seen them! We went in eventually when they stopped being so excited..we were cold and had to get up early anyway (though it was near 2 AM when we went to bed :P). I looked again before going to sleep and they were just everywhere across the sky!! And it was tinting the inside of the house green! Wowww haha. AWESOME :D

We saw Phantom of the Opera hehe
Today's trivia: The exclamation point comes from the Latin word io, meaning "exclamation of joy." Written vertically, with the i above the o, it forms the exclamation point we use today
