What is with Alaska weather??

Eielson Air Force Base dipped below the freezing mark to set a record low Tuesday and another round of frost is likely tonight in low-lying areas of Interior Alaska, according to the National Weather Service.

The thermometer settled at 28 degrees at Eielson on Tuesday morning, breaking the previous record of 33, which was set in 1969

Jeez..first we have record highs and now record lows? Though Eielson AFB isn't in Fairbanks (it's near North Pole) but still haha

I want to see the Perseid meteor shower..I was too exhausted last night but it may not be dark enough yet *sniff*

Mom comes back today..maybe she'll see some interesting things coming back? When she flew to Anchorage she saw the top of Denali haha (it was the only thing above the clouds. :P). If it stays sunny here she'll get to see all the hills and the Tanana River and stuff (aw mann haha)

Wow, Alaska seems to have crazy weather just like Texas! Haha. That's pretty insane to have temps below freezing in mid-August! Wowww.

I also want to see the Perseid meteor shower...it's way too cloudy here today though. :(
