Sweeeeeet *dances on a glacier*
Apr. 16th, 2009 05:46 pmI'm now officially an AmeriCorps member! For now I'll be working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Two days will be 7 hours and one day will be 6 hours
This April is not like last April..last April it snowed SO much and it was cooler. It's hardly snowed at all so far this month and it's been warmer (highs in the 40s..it may get to 50 on Saturday!). So much snow in town has melted. It's making me think we'll have a normal summer (last summer it rained for 5 weeks straight! Fairbanks would have been majorly flooded if not for the floodgates on the river..)

On the plane to Colorado in 2001. We went to Grand Junction, Colorado and Jensen, Utah to go dig up dinosaur bones (Ryan was obsessed with dinosaurs). We drove there from Denver. Ryan made me that picture I'm holding (I was obsessed with trees)
Kenai River: The world's finest salmon river, home of the world record king salmon, trophy-sized rainbow trout and lots of other fish, too. Said to be one of the few places in the world where, when the fish are running, you can catch one with a catcher's mitt. Exaggerate? Alaskans?
