This water comes from the meltwater lake off Eklutna Glacier (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/4545093) near Anchorage. Haven't tasted it yet though..





Hickel Highway: This crude winter road was built to speed development of the Prudhoe Bay oilfield in the late 1960s, at the behest of the then Gov. Walter Hickel. In the spring, thawing of the damaged tundra created a boggy track, quicky dubbed by critics the Hickel Highway
