Oh my goodness! It is SNOWING outside! Woww haha. Today we're leaving Oklahoma after mom gets out of class. And I got sort of good at navigating around the city too! Mom counted on me at knowing what side of the river the restaurant we wanted to go to was :P
I might have felt an earthquake on Sunday..part of my bed like shook even though I think I wasn't moving. Then mom said she heard people talking about an earthquake on Sunday. Huh..

When I went to Mammoth, CA in 2004. This is at the bristlecone pine forest
And a video I took of the river :P
Fireweed: Tall, edible wildflower with purple petals that grows wherever it wants. The plant's flowers bloom from the bottom up. Northerners know that when the fireweed "tops out" it's time to dig out the long underwear

Hmm that's sort of what happened to me in California when I felt the really tiny earthquake. I was in bed, too! My grandparents felt it too. I guess it jostled around some of these porcelain figurines that my grandmother had on this shelf in the bathroom, and the next morning one of them fell and shattered to a million pieces all over the bathroom floor. It was like one of those bird statues that I have on my dresser in Somerville.
