Isn't Mendenhall an awesome word?

I drempt mom drove past Mendenhall Glacier and she called up dad said we were gonna go walk on the glacier or something. I was upset cause I didn't have my camera but I bought another at the gift shop. There were railings as you walked down the glacier but I almost fell off anyway. :P There was this one place where water was dripping and people were filling their water bottles with the glacial water. I decided to try some and didn't think it tasted that good haha

It's been so cold lately some of the heating things or pipes or something froze..mom got the woodstove going and a space heater and tended it till 5 AM to hopefully unfreeze the heating things. It doesn't look like the cold snap is going away soon (according to www.wunderground.com/US/AK/Fairbanks.html). *sighs*

OMG that's terrible that the pipes froze...I can't imagine not having heat in -30 degree weather! Haha...I hope you guys were warm enough with the space heater and everything. :)
